In general there seems yo be a thread running with disgruntled customers who visit this site. They don't appear to be able to take responsibility for the decisions they make. So if things go wrong however small everyone else is to blame than the customer.

Your dad has made a very wise decision to join the UW. It would be even wiser of him to leave you to stew in your own problem.

It's a real case in point why I rarely do business with people who I know.

Anyhow.. I only joined this forum so that I could share my experience I had with the company UW. I'm sure there are people doing well out of it somewhere, but i'm not conviced its as great deal as I was lead to believe.

I did read a lot of the negative posts on forums before I joined but ignored them and still joined....

Interesting how UW distributors are quick to defend and argue what is purely my experience, whilst actual customers appear to agree and share similar stories.

What went wrong for you? I have been with the company for years and more than been paid back for the work I put in. Obviously some methods do not work in certain circumstances but I just tried others that were suggested.

Utility Warehouse is now quite a large company, although still a minnow in the utilities field. As such there will be mistakes made. It has been my experience that they deal with complaints better than many other companies. They are still not perfect but they are trying to be the best.

Im not a distributor, just a customer..... but not anymore hopefully unless they send me another bill again next month.
