One for Carmine and other CashBack Card holders. If you buy stamps get them from Boots or Sainsburys. Never even dawned on me that either of them sold stamps. You live and learn. And you get 5% cashback as well.

When you think of it there must be loads of everyday items that we just don't think about where cashback can be had.

Interesting. What's even more interesting is what I found out yesterday. As cashback is worked out on the total bill from UW (presumably less VAT - not sure on that one) then it is the partner companies ie Sainsbury's etc who are footing the bill and not UW. I wondered about this. It certainly must pay the retailers to partner with UW if they are prepared to give money back this way to customers.

You also get 5% cashback on any delivery charges with Sainsburys - we ordered an item from their one of their 'other' online stores and received 5% on the postage. I also believe you can get 5% cashback on mobile top-ups bought in-store at Sainsburys and also gift vouchers for other stores, so effectively you can also get 5% off your UW shopping at stores that actually aren't included in the '5% list'! It's frankly unbeatable - and Quentin absolutely knows it. Only problem is he let his ego rule his keyboard in January and must have regretted it ever since. Maybe also why the other members of the AUWF never ever mention this Quentin cashback card - they know it just doesn't exist either. It's about as real as Xbox's usage figure and Cardew's French & Saunders TV ads. When you think about it, they really are a bit of a motley crew, aren't they?

HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??

There are supposed to be other heavy hitters joining the partner list. It would be great if Marks & Sparks was included. We use them a lot. If they do it could even give me the push I need to speak to my mother in law. Contrary to what Quentin et al say except for my mother (who sadly passed away 18 months ago) none of my customers are family members or friends. Personally I've always preferred talking to relative strangers rather than family & friends. I think many people in NM tend to steer clear of their relatives. However, with the CBC here I feel telling relatives is probably the right thing to do.

Have you noticed the 3 pretenders have gone all shy. Perhaps they aren't happy and don't want to admit it.

This was the first MAD for me this year. Very inspirational. Over the years I've been on and off with UW simply because I had another business I was concentrating on plus other things. However, it was something my fellow Liverpudlian said that made me realise that UW is the only thing that will ever give me what I want. So I am really pushing it now. I've started to come out my comfort zone and talking to people I wouldn't have previously. My confidence is growing now. Doing a bit of personal development as well which is helping.

Success is within everyone's grasp whether as an ID or a customer. IDs can develop a long term residual income while customers can get enough discounts off their bills to end up paying nothing.

While I have had reservations about nPower in the past if what announcements were made at MAD work as we all believe they will then Npower could be a very useful partner and a take over is NOT on the cards because it wouldn't be in their interests to do so. That was my biggest fear with our connection to one of the discredited Big 6.

  • I think that Charles is so important to the development of TP. Without Charles actively pushing TP in the direction it needs to go it wouldn't be where it is already. Any partner companies with TP will realise this. The directors in TP have all been chosen to be the right person for the job. Every aspect has already been covered and a successful plan for the future is already in place and has been for years. Enhancements will continue to be introduced as and when the market is right and it is tested and works properly. Charles does not rest on his laurels. I have every expectation and belief for the future. You just have to do your bit and keep doing it.

Nothing to do with the £1500 bonus you get if they make it?

According to Scouse Jimmy, you'll get £1500 just for making sure they get their 12 customers in time.

Puts the £2.50 you get for signing up a new gullible for expensive electricity into the shade!

Oh dear...you really don't understand it do you?

It's the new distributor who gets £1500 if they 'make it' - can I suggest you do your research properly before posting misleading information on the forum please.

The new ID gets £1500 if they get their 12 and help 3 others do the same in the required timeframe. Thats 50 customers via 4 people...if that happens I get a £100 bonus (it was £50) for helping them. That's a lot of work for the amount on offer. Of course, I then earn the residual income off those customers every month.

I have said numerous times that this is a 'helping business'. There are no incentives for simply recruiting distributors (of course that would be illegal), we get paid when we help others become successful - nothing dubious/underhand about that is there, yet you continue to try and inexplicably portray the business model of a fully-listed UK PLC, currently FT Company of the Year, in a bad light.

You are plain and simple WRONG this time, yet you lord it over this forum like some anti-UW know-it-all. Sadly for you, I would imagine that this misunderstanding would cast a lot of doubt on the credibility of your other posts too (any sign of your super-duper cashback card yet?). Again, it seems to the casual observer that you have an unhealthy obsession with discrediting UW for no apparent or forthcoming reason.

It would be nice to get an apology or an admission that you misunderstood what you heard/read, but as is usual, I won't hold my breath.

I think Andrea has scared everybody away. :-)

When you sign on the dotted line and hand your £200 over, can I remind you to declare your UW rep status? Thanks.

Can I refer you to the post I made two slots up the thread?

Can I refer you to the opening word 'when'? Which to any ordinary person means in the future.

Good luck in your endever, judging by your contributions to this thread you will be highly successful. Remember to keep that anger in check.;)
