But then you have to stay a BT customer for 12(?) months.
Any ideas on how much UW are going to ask for?
18 months for the free connection. But if you take line rental with UW its subject to a 12 month contract i think your find.
The connection costs are here: https://www.utilitywarehouse.co.uk/home/home_phone/New_phone_line_installation.taf0 -
That's news to me. Great if you want to use BT but they'll put you a rolling contract which I don't think Swanjon wants.

By the way BT dont normally have rolling contracts on line rental, only on call bundles but you can choose not to have rolling contracts..0 -
I think this thread has been dragged out silly the question real money savers want to know is.
UW for just gas and electricity ( they dont want any other service). as it is gas and electricty we are talking about.
How much will UW charge based on "national average consumption" in the scottish power region.
I wouldnt go far in saying I bet BG Zero carbon tariff would compete against UW standard tariff for price.
How is that value for money .. being moneysavingexperts ?
dont reply if.
() You are going to tell me about UW cashback card
() You Get phone internet and mobile with UW
() You are going to say im trying to generate business for BG ( Zero Carbon) lol
() You are going to try and insult me like most UW employees are doing to other people. His Heart Proved He Was A RedSuarez, SuarezWe Bought The Lad From AmsterdamWe Know He's Not a Chelsea Fan.Fernando Torres = El Judas0 -

The ironic thing is he COULD take advantage of UWs massive advantage compared to any other energy company. But obviously chooses not to. Then criticises OUR money saving credentialsCall me Carmine....

Thanks for that. I notice there is an awful lot of small print and the 'special offer' is only available to 30 Sep..
I will check about the contract - we don't normally have them.
SwanJon is your line a Cable line or was it originally a BT line. If so you can reconvert for just £25 otherwise it is £99 which is inclusive of VAT by the way.

I believe BT insist you make 10 chargeable calls per month to qualify for this, so 180 calls over the course of the contract. The devil is always in the detail with these things (ALL company's small print, not just BT). To be fair, the words 'value for money' and BT shouldn't really be ever contained in the same sentence unless there's also a 'not' in there.Call me Carmine....

Sorry if you find me odd, I just read through Rael's posts and made my mind up on the information he posted, what else can you do, unless you can read minds. Maybe I am a little naive, I just don't like to think the worst of people.
Why do you feel the need to twist my comment? Where did I say I find you odd? I said, as you well know that I find your attitude odd. As you attempt to excuse deliberate deception of forum members while happily criticising myself for making a genuine error.0
