And how about a real bill? How does that come out?

I know someone with usage that is almost exactly that. I do not lie. There are many here who get the cheapest overall with UW by taking the package of services. That has been put forward by themselves.

What you want to do with your utilities is completely up to you.

It simply illustrates situations where UW come out cheapest on price comparison sites including membership fee for just energy. There are others as well.

My theory is almost proved UW must be the most expensive, I posted real figures and not one of you even tried to show if UW could beat them. Or indicated any way they could be matched.

All I have seen for 4 pages are insults and backstabbing. Very disappointing.

    Hippey,
Having asked for your figures, I have just seen your reply - this thread moves so quickly!

I really do not understand this tariff? 3 different rates and a daily charge?

Especially as the charges are so high? Night units at 10p and day at 15p - who is it with?
For August (a pretty average month)

    Standing Charge:0.0092 x 31= 2.85
    Units
    Day 104.75 @ 0.11305 £ 11.842
    Night 111.23 @ 0.09352 £ 10.402
    Peak 56.79 @ 0.14248 £ 8.092

    plus VAT

I am in the Central Network EM Area....

Also what is your annual gas consumption and who with? Ebico are the only firm I know with a flat rate and they charge less than you quote!

Are the Utility Warehouse bills easy to read?
I think they are. Each half of of an A4 sheet has clear information on it with membership details and Totals summary on the first half a side. It also tells you when the Direct Debit will be taken out. My bill usually arrives nearly two weeks before the DD so that I can check it and make contact if there are any discrepancies.

I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company.

If you go to the Utility Warehouse web site, look at electricity and/or gas and click on tariffs, you can get your information. As has been previously stated, Utility Warehouse may not be for you in your personal circumstances but it is best value for many people. If you genuinely can not find the tariffs, I am prepared to email a .pdf file to you as I did for Carmine.

I posted my numbers on this thread and showed how I paid about £4.50 per month less than with companies that were quoted as the cheapest, including all relevant fees. That was before a 2% price reduction.

Why would a normal customer do that?
Choice. You know, that thing you try and get others to leave to you. I chose to be a Utility Warehouse customer and independent distributor because it suited my requirements. I choose to support the company because I get benefits as a customer and as an independent distributor.

I have worked out my figures and find that I save money by being a Utility Warehouse customer. If it works for me, it can work for many other people too.

You took Rael's post the wrong way!

He asked in August if UW's bills were easy to read.

You, amongst others, posted a nice reply assuring him that it was easy - exactly the replies he wanted to be posted on MSE.

All the time he was a customer of UW and simply was fishing for positive posts about UW.

    Don't you feel conned? deceived?

You get upset with others who disagree with you, yet when a troll is exposed you have nothing to say except find a way to defend him!

Not a criticism of you janninew - you are one of the nice 'guys'(female!)

I don't get upset when others don't agree with me, I don't mind a good debate, how boring would this thread be if we all agreed! I look forward to reading and contributing! I'm not defending him, I was just commenting on what Rael had posted, I could assume he was a troll, but how do I know that? You know what they say about people who assume!

I wonder if i'm the only female on here, I think we need some more nice 'guys' on here, we need some new points of view!

    Ah, are you a victim?

We are out of order - what gall!

No point in trying to attack. You deliberately set out to deceive(and succeeded initially). Were they not victims of your duplicity?

Yet it is now apparent that that your sole objective in posting was to praise UW.

Why would a normal customer do that?

I don't believe anything you write. Your credibility is shot!

Cardew, I'll ask again as you seem to have missed/ignored my earlier question:

Have you ever told an untruth in this thread? Yes or no.
    Call me Carmine....

HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??

What has been demonstrated on this thread is how those who think they know everything about anything can victimise someone on a bulletin board just because their dominance is questioned. It shows classic signs of paranoia and bullying and is out of order.

It appears that Rael has brought up a good point here.

    Same diversion tactics as normal.

    That's a YES then.

Another question to keep you squirming:

Have you ever posted deliberately misleading info in this thread?
