This is Rael's post from the 11th August, it says he was with Scottish Power in the past, that could mean 10 years ago for all you know!

Come on janninew, he has already admitted that when he asked that question about UW bills he was already a customer of UW.

1. Mid August - Rael asks questions about UW -

whats their billing like?

about his pub owning friend?

about UW tariffs

All posing as an interested potential customer.

2. Then praise after praise about the great advantages of UW.


3. Stating what a great choice it is to be a UW independent distributor.

When caught out, he admits that he knew the answers and he was a customer of UW.

All this is quite typical of UW trolls on this website, posing as an interested customer.

Why would anyone ask question after question, all designed to elicit answers favourable to UW, followed by praise after praise for UW if they were merely a customer of UW.

He now admits he is a shareholder in UW - nothing else?? Whatever he states on here won't be believed as he simply has no credibility.

He is a plant – A troll!

It is exactly because we got post after post from similar UW trolls posing as satisfied customers or with genuine enquiries that Martin started this thread.

It is exactly why your posts were initially treated with suspicion.

Absolutely not, so I didn't read it correctly, did I deliberately try and deceive you? No. Although you seem to find Rael's posts rather naive as opposed to an attempt to deceive MSE members. I don't find his behaviour acceptable, I think his intentions are obvious, and I find it odd that you attempt to excuse such behaviour.

I can see your point but I don't believe in judging everybody to be the same. I personally have never seen a spam post from UW as they must be removed quickly. I wish they wouldn't post though as it harms the company and makes people doubt the genuine customers (like me!) I don't know what the answer is, but this thread is getting pretty tiring now!

Have you read this thread? It's very hostile towards anything UW, and at times insults the intelligence of those who may already be customers. I chose to find out if the anti UW lobby really gave good advice by asking questions I already knew the answers to. This gave me an idea of the credibility and trustworthiness of the contributors. I think you will find I've been insulted many times over the last few months. Carmine even accused me of defrauding my employers, a very serious accusation for which he had to retract and apologise for.

I personally try and keep any discussion on an adult level, only to find various reps resort to name calling, very childish.

Sorry if you find me odd, I just read through Rael's posts and made my mind up on the information he posted, what else can you do, unless you can read minds. Maybe I am a little naive, I just don't like to think the worst of people.

Many are removed pretty quickly.

However if you post plausibly as Rael did initially, then it is impossible to know if he is a troll or not.

His posts appeared to most of us(obviously you as well) as genuine and were exactly what the UW ID wanted to hear.

However it was simply a pattern of deceipt, that this time was exposed because he made a mistake.

Now I ask you, do you really feel a mere customer would go to all the trouble of setting up this deceiptful scenario? What would be the point?

There is no way we will ever find out for certain that he is in fact a UW salesman, and any denial from him would be worthless.

Just wondering exactly where it is I have been abusive Quentin. Another false statement on your behalf. Now, I would have to say that libel is also against the site rules however you ignore that. Many people have had to point out to you where you are putting forward incorrect information and misrepresenting others. Deformation is not only against site rules it also illegal. The reason I write this is because I have to. However I should not have to defend my position against someone with a vendetta against UW and distributors. Having an interest in UW is nothing wrong.

Just because UW put forward yet another discount does not mean you have to resort to false accusations. Look, you still haven't put forward your link to your cashback card.
