You mislead the forum every time you mention the UW beating cashback card - unless after 9 months of being asked for a link you finally relent and provide it. Seriously, assuming it actually exists, what unimagineable horrors are lurking in its T&Cs for you to prolong your embarrassment by completely ignoring all requests for a link? One can only imagine... (shudders)

Why is the discount dubious? As long as its made clear that its for the first year only and not hidden in the T & C's, there is nothing dubious about it. Does it bother you that it makes UW a better deal for alot more people now, even if its only for a year? Exactly, if, which you're not, so you get zero. Must leave a nasty taste in your mouth?

Why not just give a percentage discount to all customer like my own supplier does? Then the more energy you consume, the greater the discount. Seems eminently more fair, although its probably too transparent for UW to make such a clear discount. When they can wrap it up with various hoops, such as having to take 3 services to qualify, and existing customers disgracefully ignored.

Carmine (independent UW shareholder) is so quick to criticise every other energy supplier when they use these tactics, not a word of criticism from his keyboard, I wonder why.....
