I was not expecting Keggs to let the cat out of the bag, apart from anything else it would not be fair on the people who have bought tickets for tomorrow.;)

I wasn't miffed at all - I was laughing uproariously if you check out the smilie
    > :rotfl: It's just amusingly typical of you. A week or so ago you were comparing your BG fixed deal's (paying those prices for for 4 years now) dual fuel leccy price in isolation with UWs leccy price PLUS the annual club fee to make your 'point'. Hmmmm...then got inadvertantly shown up by Plushchris stating (rightly) that you could actually be getting it for less than nothing with a couple of other suppliers. Then YOU got all miffed when I asked you for your gas consumption on the little-used annex so we could ascertain the TRUE picture. I have asked loads of times for that gas figure and you haven't provided it once. That suggests you have summat embarrassing to hide, i.e. the fact that you have been overpaying on your gas and electric for at least 4 years on your super duper fixed deal. Now, THAT'S irony. :p

I'll ask again, what is the gas consumption on your little used annex. Surely it exists (unlike Quentin's UW beating cashback card).

Much as you want to divert, yet again, the discussion away from UW's extremely high prices, the only thing that matters is the gas and electricity prices others will pay if they join UW.

The fact that I would pay over £800 a year more if I were silly enough to be with UW is also not relevant; again the only thing that matters is the gas and electricity prices others will pay if they join UW.

So the quote below is valid.
Don't you find it ironic that you have rightly slammed Ebico for their very high electricity prices.

There is no doubt that you are correct about that - they are right up there amongst the most expensive in UK.

You give an example of your consumption - and are miffed when it it pointed out that actually Ebico are £70 a year cheaper than UW if you pay quarterly; or £238 with BG

If you want to pay by DD on your consumption, you can get it £238 cheaper with other companies.

Now whichever way you want to look at the figures, - ---- well you know what I mean!!!!

    That is an indisputable fact.

It cannot be stated too often - UW gas and electricity prices are just about the highest in UK.

Now I know that you understand that is an indisputable fact, I also appreciate that it is not in your financial interests to admit the truth,

Just as long as any potential customers, as well as any misguided UW customers, appreciate the facts, then this thread will have some purpose.

I know. I know. I'm a shareholder but not a distributor so would love to know but I totally agree - ALL distributors should get to know first. Bet you wouldn't have chided Keggs if he HAD let the cat out of the bag, though. :D

You really cannot believe that people would pay £200 to become a salesman,(for just about the most expensive gas and electricity in UK) and then travel, presumably without travel expenses, and pay for their ticket(£30?) for a sales seminar.

You really have to admire Charles!

    1) I'm not trying to divert, I'm just asking you for an honest answer (for a change). Your gas usage on the little-used annex would have been no concern of mine if you hadn't tried another of your 'dodgy', no downright dishonest 'comparisons' in order to paint the object of your hatred in an adverse light. You used a dishonest method in your analysis and then refused to make it honest by ignoring all requests to provide your gas usage (even though you used your duel fuel leccy charge to compare with UWs PLUS one-off fee). It's just typical of you and, to be fair, given you have a degree of intelligence, rather excrutiatingly embarrasing behaviour.

    2) Now who's diverting? :rotfl: I ask you AGAIN, what is your gas usage on your litte-used annex? You must know it because you must have input it into energyhelpline in order to concoct your dishonest comparison to UWs leccy price. No? Yes? Why won't you answer this very simple question? Would the answer prove French & Saunders-like embarrassing for you?

We were asked not to say anything because of tomorrow. Other than that I would have glad to. But you are right OldGreyFox, it wouldn't be fair

    1) I'm not trying to divert,

You are always trying to divert - it is what you do!!!

I ask you AGAIN, what is your gas usage on your litte-used annex?

    I say to you AGAIN.

It matters not a jot what I am pay for any of my services, what cars I drive, what banks I use, etc etc.

I can say to you without any question whatsoever that I pay far less for all my utility accounts than I would pay if I were silly enough to get my gas and electricity from UW.

I have already told you that I pay over £800 pa less for gas and electricity in my house than I would if I were silly enough to get my gas and electricity from UW.

However as you are desperate to know the consumption of my little used annex, it was 2856kWh gas and 170kWh electricity.

Looking at my bills I paid a total of £89 for gas and electricity last year(energyhelpline calculates it as £92).

The cheapest tariff now available is apparently with npower at £124.

I must admit UW prices for that low consumption are far better than I expected and are only £174 - which is only 96.6% more than I pay.

Now once again you have made yourself look rather silly by making assumptions without any basis of fact, and making accusations based on those false assumptions.

But then you have done that so many times that you are beyond embarrassment.

However what I pay, or you pay, really doesn't matter. The only point of this thread from my perspective is to point out to any new readers that UW have indisputably amongst the very highest gas and electricity prices in UK.

You know that, all UW salesmen know that, but vested interests will prevent an admission of the truth.

Cardew, are you really an electrical engineer? You sound like my Dad, one of his many careers was electrical engineering and he is bombastic, opnionated, domineering and dictatorial.

You're not my Dad are you?:eek::eek:
