Misrepresenting UW again Quentin in order to spread your rumour.

    How?

    No rumours.

    All fact.

    See the training video.

Keggs (who though it up) doesn't dispute the car parking trick (he memorably got upset and called me a liar when revealing his deceit, but that was because I posted he left literature under the cars wipers. In fact he leaves it on the wing mirrors. That was a big lie of mine, wasn't it!)

The approaching people and pretending to be lost is from the reps suggestions.

There are plenty more tricks to reveal the modus operandi of uw reps on the net if you'd like them quoting?

I guess you haven't seen the "honesty" demonstrated by uw staff revealed here.

eg Teaching uw reps about conning a good friend that you have a problem at work and need his help to "practice" on, when really the agenda is to sign the friend up for multiple services:

    http://www.networkerplus.co.uk/videos/practice-appointment-shannon-griffin.html

eg. Conning people in the street that you are lost so that you can give them your card as a "thank you" for helping you.

eg. Conning people that they hgave been considerate when parking their car so that you can leave promotional literature on their car when in fact it was the rep who carefully selected where to park.

    etc etc

They can't even be compared in my opinion. BG have been reported to lie to get in people's homes to get them to sign up and staff change their bills so they pay less! Maybe they should swap suppliers to UW as they obviously aren't happy with what there paying!! :D

Careful Jannine, it's never a good idea to go round tarring everyone with the same brush.
Even the IDs on here recognise that there have been unscrupulous IDs in the past, posting on here, in peoples homes, or not even understanding the contracts they are agreeing themselves. UW is now making steps to prevent this.
The same can be said for BG - there have been some unscrupulous door to door agents, and now 30 members of staff are dealt with because of fraud you decide that all BG staff are the same. Sounds like Quentin and UW IDs.

I think everyone agrees that the way the incentive culture in the energy industry has led to the occasional bad apple for every company, but by no means the majoprity.

(PS if you think it makes a difference, I work for BG)

I'm not tarring everybody with the same brush, just making a comment on whats in the news and other people's threads on here. I've never said that all BG employees are the same, in fact i use to work for Centrica and i'm a very honest person.

The point I'm trying to make is that UW are in my opinion not the worst company for their sales techniques, some of the horror stories about BG are quite shocking!

Quentin. As a literary talking to a literal. You can't even get your own facts together. How do you expect people to take what you state seriously. Is it because the Massive Action Day is on today. You thought everyone would be there at the party and you weren't invited. UW has got bigger so there are now 2 Massive Acton Days this year. I am going tomorrow. So I am still here to keep you company. I know you just like to try to get people going and then hold it against them if they answer you back Quentin. Isn't there something more useful you could spend your time doing rather than just spread rumour.

Similarly uw suggest how to get into peoples homes.

eg Knock on the door, pretend you are doing a survey on houses with a bt line, say there's now a new sevice where the line rental will drop below £10 a month, and you'll get some free calls, say "about time. yeah?", then ask if they have a flat surface you can use to jot down some details, once inside the house the rep then has "loads of time" to cover all their products whilst supposedly completing the "survey"

They are advised to make lots of eye contact whilst filling in the "survey", and smile lots!

Again you accuse me of spreading rumour.

Despite me providing the evidence. (Though you personally don't need any evidence as you are well aware what I have posted is true, and your own UW training video is hardly just a rumour!)

No, we have heard the phone conference where the senior reps try to encourage ticket sales for your MAD parties this weekend.

I thought there were over 30,000 of you, but only 1600 going today at most.

So plenty of reps left to man the forums.

Quentin. Sorry to be so direct but from experience I know you need things spelled out to you in full before you understand. People are not intimidated by your accusations they just feel sorry for you Quentin. I certainly don't lie awake at night worrying what you are going to dig up next. There aren't any hidden secrets to dig up. I would not be so stupid as to stroke your rumour spreading ego in any case.

The methods of approaching people you have pointed out have nothing wrong in themselves. This point has been answered a number of times before yet you have a habit of reiterating the same point because you are desperate to find something wrong. It seems that if someone was to even mention UW you would see it as wrong.

What is wrong is your attitude towards UW, not UW itself. However, the company works from recommendation from satisfied customers through a network of distributors. I get my customers by working hard to make sure my customers are always happy with their service who then recommend people they know to me. That's how other distributors work as well. It is referral marketing. Your perception of how UW works is what is wrong.

The pot calling the kettle bottom black.

I have been doing it for years so I know how it works. From the incorrect information you spread you obviously don't Quentin.

So what is your next rumour going to be. The UW beating cashback card again.

Just to be direct again Quentin because I have to, not that I want to. I am not sure if you are aware but I am not answering your posts one at a time as you seem to think I am but merely telling you directly how it is. Whether you like it or not. I don't mess about with time wasters. Or have you not noticed that because you are in your normal rumour digging mode. I have helped many in my life who are willing to be helped.

I don't take offence to what you say, I just feel sorry for you wasting your life away with this vendetta.
