I might have made comments another forum regarding worries I have. You however use that in formation and deliberately place spin on it to distort. Let me spell out once and for all in simple terms even you (in your now admittedly confused state - see how I can spin and deliberately mislead what you really said) will understand.
I am not disenchanted with the Utility Warehouse. I do at times wish the business was not as complicated as it is. I am a very a very happy customer and will never under any normal cisrcusmstances change back to suppliers I have left.
I have every confidence in what the Utility Warehouse provides and have no problem recommending its club to other people. I do not pester, coerce anyone in becoming a member of the club if I feel it would not be in their interests to do do.
As many people keep telling you and the rest of your friends - the UW will benefit some not everyone. It depends (as Nigewick has stated) on their particular circumstances.
The guarantee that you state is worthless is not worthless but I have never used it because like Carmine I do not take the word of anyone - I do my own research. As people should. People like Jimexbox said he would not benefit. Great. Perhaps one day he will. It doesn't matter. Others like Carmine and Janinenew feel they are benefiting. Great.
Your antipathy has no logic. It's sheer dislike based on who knows what. But That does not give you the right to stalk me and then use words I say to browbeat and fling back in my face. That's immoral.0 -
Evening all!
I've been away for a few days, been in bed poorly! Just thought I'd pop by to say hello!
I have had another example of excellent customer service by UW this week. I wanted to change my direct debit, so went on the UW web-site. I couldn't see the option to change so e-mailed CS. I had a reponse in around 2 hours saying my enquiry was being looked at, the next morning I had an e-mail telling me they had sent me a new direct debit form out in the post. I received this the next day, filled it out and sent it straight back. I called today, its been received and will be set up for my September payment date! So simple and easy, no hassle and a very friendly man on the phone who seemed only to happy to help me!
It might be a small issue, but thats one of the reasons I like UW, they have always given me excellent customer service and deal with my questions in a very prompt manner. I have, in all honesty never had such good customer service. For somebody who worries and gets stressed easily (me) this is very reassuring.:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Is Quentin about to divulge his great secret. Or will he disappear again.0 -
Sorry just had to add about Quentin going on another web-site to get info about UW/Reps. Can I just say OH MY GOD!! Have you no life?! Sorry I don't want to appear rude, but why do you bother? Is UW that important to you? Admitting this makes you look a little odd and very desperate to discredit the company. People reading must surely be thinking 'why?' Thats what I'm thinking. You trawl the internet to find all these links on UW and there sales techniques, it just seems so desperate.:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

My thoughts as well Janinenew. Forgetting the fact that I am an ID for the company and just a member of the club I like you would be wondering what Quentin is up to if I happened to be a new visitor.
I have to say it is not a particularly pleasant experience being for all intents and purposes - internet stalked. I have had people in my past use things I innocently say used against me in an argument but Quentin's behaviour dwarfs anything previously done.
Any chance of an apologu do you think Janinenew? He won't apologise to Nigewick for libelling him so I suppose its too much to ask for an apology for stalking me.0 -

Hope you are feeling better now. I too have had great customer service. Only today I contacted the company to ask them something. No problems. They even transferred me as a priority to the other department I needed.

He reckons in 10 years with UW even the laziest of the reps should all be earning £200,00 "passive" income - presumably "passive" means doing nothing!!
He tells them "That's serious beach time"
Where do you join the queue?
Hi Everyone
Back from hols, and ready for MAD Day tomorrow.
Quentin, you mis-quote a very good friend of mine here - where does he mention lazy? Using emotive language to mis-lead people about UW again?
You also seem to have an issue with the UW business model, and in a recent post mention pyramids...now, we all know that you certainly know your way around UW websites so why don't you find the link that explains Network Marketing and educate yourself. You're confusing it with something that is illegal. Do you honestly think that Mastercard, Sainsburys, Comet, Argos, etc, people like French and Saunders, publications like the FT and Which? would risk their reputations by associating with and even, shock horror, recommending something that is illegal? Get real.
Jimebox - you state that the cashback card is there to reduce high energy prices - it's not, it's to build loyalty and create 'sticky' customers. You also state that this thread is for discussing UW gas and electricity in the post where you accused Carmine of spamming when he posted the laptop offer - will you point that out to Q as he seems to have gone 'off topic', or will you turn a blind eye because you're on the 'same side'?
By the way, Q, I see that you have yet to answer the 3 questions I posed back in early August before my UW-funded 5-week holiday..any chance? Thought not.
Roll on MAD - should be a great day with all the other 'gullibles', eh? Bet you can't wait to hear the announcements!

Hi AvengerSeawolf
Hope you had a great holiday. I know I did.
If you don't get the usual ridiculous repostes I'll be surprised.
As for Quentin educating himself, he knows all about NM and nothing change his mind. Clear demonstration of a lack of education but there you go.
His recent posts do however appear to be showing that light might be entering his closed, dark mind. Hope so. The thing is if he tried the services himself then he would at least be able to claim to know something even if it didn't work out for him. Perhaps he has - he's never said. If he has then I could perhaps understand more his anti UW obsession. But I have to assume he hasn't. So I can only guess at his reasons for being so anti UW obsessed.

There is an interesting thread just opened in this section pointing out that Ebico have just changed their T & Cs.
Their gas has always been pretty competitive, but their electricity horrendously expensive - a fact which several of us have pointed out.
They now have introduced a clause which states that if you move electricity from Ebico, they can increase the price of your gas.
This has prompted one articulate critic of the company to post:LOL......Ebico, the 'ethical' supplier. I reckon that T&C has been introduced due to even the committed Ebico-huggers looking at their leccy charge and thinking 'b*ggger this, I'm off'.
Call me Carmine....
An astute and well justified comment IMO(we agree on many things!) - no committed money saver should pay Ebico those very high prices.
Indeed I was looking at the comparison websites and saw that Ebico electricity is not much cheaper than the prices UW charge;)
However gas from Ebico is of course much cheaper than UW!0 -
I will be thinking of Quentin when Charles is up on stage at Massive Acton Day producing his new innovations, magic and other fancy stuff. I will chuckle to myself because I realise Quentin has been so desperate today to find things wrong. It's because of the Massive Acton Day events over the weekend. He simply doesn't want UW to win out. He will stop at nothing. However, Charles will simply steer UW around the opposition. He is probably the most talented person I could think of to do that. I think its about time Quentin realised that he has already lost a long time ago. It's game, set and match UW. Quentin hasn't even got his cashback card to market yet.Quentin's Cashback Card?
Let no man, advert or internet site tell me where to get my Utilities0
