According to the MSE recommend energyhelpline site, UW would cost me an extra £255 per year.
As has been previously stated numerous times, Utility Warehouse does not suit everybody. But, for those with certain usage, many who take all the services and those who are prepared to use the pre payment card to good effect, Utility Warehouse can work out to be the best value.

You just cant bring yourself to admit it can you? Well being a UW shareholder its obviously not in your interests to admit that UW provide expensive energy. My predicted energy consumption is not only based on last years usage, but also changed circumstances which can affect overall consumption. A concept alien to many, but good practice if you dont want a large hike next year.

So again would you recommend that I switch from Eon to UW? Its an extra £255 extra than my current tarrif, can even you make that work? Seriously I would value your opinion as to whether it makes financial sense.

:rolleyes: What is your annual energy usage which you base this £255 saving on? And is it in the Buckinghamshire area? I do think it hilarious that you accuse me of ducking your questions. Yours are normally asking for an opinion, I give it, it's open to interpretation, not an exact science if you wish. My question is just based on what you put into the switching site. Easy. Peasy. Apparently not.

Edit: I already answered your question in post 4649. How exactly do you want me to answer it before you are satisfied? Advise you to switch to UW immediately so you can then launch into a tirade about me being a UW shareholder? Stick with who you are with, jimexbox. You have seemingly massively fluctuating energy usage so maybe you are best with them, lol.

PS What cash back card do you use currently for your shopping? This must be the 4th or 5th time I've asked this question (along with the usage question). Why the secrecy??

The UW has draconian ts + cs regarding changing tariffs (which you might want to should you discover they put you on the wrong one, or when circumstances change in the household).

Once you change tariff from the one they put you on, then they insist you remain on any different tariff for at least 12 months. So hard luck if your family circumstances change again!

(Never mentioned by the reps when we have seen them signing up the gullibles)

You can of course just switch away with no fear of an exit fee, though. Which is increasingly rare these days.

PS What's the link to this UW-beating cash back card you keep banging on about, Quentin? (that normally gets rid of him :p)

I have found that Jimexbox will not answer questions unless cardew or quentin are around at the same time.

I said a few months ago he is like the kid at school who stands behind his bully friend and says 'ye take that' every time the bully says something. Faced with a question if on his own, he bottles it and runs off for support.

That's only put in place to stop someone from going on low user in summer and high user in winter. I did that during first year with them. It's only to stop someone abusing them, seems fair. When I go around to see existing customers who have had energy for more than a year, I check to make sure they are on the correct low user, standard user or high user tariff for separate gas and electricity based on annual usage. I find it rare that their usage changes.

What do you think of my new signature Quentin?

All 3 seem to have disappeared - Negative Bill & CashBack Card seems to be a virus they can't shake off. :D

As for being bullys vinnyph. You are right but they seem to have lost their punch.

Get ready though for Cardew to try another blow with his current mantra since I have dared to make a post.

    Fun aint it.

When I was at primary school I was the shortest in the year. I was called shorty. But when you consider that the tallest kid in the year was about an inch higher it didn't really matter much. Then in secondary school my mum changed my feed and I started to grow and became the second tallest in the last year. I could look down on others then. It had its advantages but I could notice their dandruff and head lice more. We were poor at our school. They called me lanky then.

Seems fair to you as a uw rep.

But from a moneysaving point of view just seems another (hidden) reason to steer clear.
