I think Cardew et al are struggling to make a reposte Carmine. It's been several hours now. However, I'm sure he suddenly pop up with some other dubious statement to attack UW.

According to the MSE recommend energyhelpline site, UW would cost me an extra £255 per year. So I would have to spend 5 grand in Sainsburys even to get near my current tarrif.

Just checked a BG fixed deal

So you did not check their best priced deal. Or compare UW's two other deals.

I'm worried about you, KY. You're making some dreadful mistakes just lately. Read Cardew's post which mine was a response to and feel embarrassed all over again....
    Call me Carmine....

HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??

I thought you were a fairly low user? That would equate to a very hefty usage in my region (Yorkshire)

PS We spend almost £3,000 on petrol/diesel per year. £5,000 in total in all the stores listed is not exactly premier league footballer-type spending. What cash back card do you use for your groceries/petrol, jimexbox?

And the cash back card you use?

Maybe I imagined it but I'm sure you posted your exact usage figures in this thread a while ago and they were very reasonable.....

For one who's accused me of dodging questions in the past, jimexbox does seem to disappear sharpish when he's asked what he seemingly believes to be 'awkward' questions..

Ha ha ha. Ive asked you specific question whether a person should only take gas and electric with UW and you have blanked me more than Paxman Vs Howard. Now that is embarrassing.

If you have a reasonable question please ask. The fact that UW are vastly more expensive than my current supplier, and you fail to ask why is slightly odd. Uh hum.
