Its not EDF by any chance is it. If they paid their customer support people a decent wage, the talented ones would stay, they wouldn't have to keep training new people. Some people change company just for price, most people stay with a company because of quality.

I noticed -=The A.U.W.F.=- scared off a budding participant in the forum with a sense of humour last night, a normal person. I think the poor guy thought this forum was for strange people. I think -=The A.U.W.F.=- need to work on -=The A.U.W.F.=- rules of engagement.

Pro faction could be SEPOS (Self Employed Purveyors Of S)

Anti faction could be SOTs (Seekers of Truth)

The word truth has a variety of meanings, from honesty, good faith, and sincerity in general, to agreement with fact or reality in particular. The term has no single definition about which a majority of professional philosophers and scholars agree, and various theories of truth continue to be debated. There are differing claims on such questions as what constitutes truth; what things are truthbearers capable of being true or false; how to define and identify truth; the roles that revealed and acquired knowledge play; and whether truth is subjective, relative, objective, or absolute.

A fact is a pragmatic truth, a statement that can, at least in theory, be checked and either confirmed or denied. Facts are often contrasted with opinions and beliefs, statements which are held to be true, but are not amenable to pragmatic confirmation or denial.

Ironic that even truth itself is open to opinion.

Things go wrong that the test of a company and how good they are and trying to deny and fetter peoples statutory rights would appear to be a bit naughty whoever you are.
Yes its nice to have one bill, its when you add up all the little bits like the 35p to charge the card everytime. Reading Martins tips there are much better ways of slicing your bills, and if T+ were as good as they make out to their distributors why is Martin not doing the same?
What they do at their "meetings" reminded me too much of what they do in cult religions and when you look outside the box you soon realise that one bill does not mean a whole lot when you could save 325.00 on a different fuel supplier.
The simple fact is (this applies to most companies) people do not shop around and cannot be bothered to change.
And what ID's dont realise is that years ago you had a decent commision per customer, now whilst prices are up you are in affect getting less.
As to the price of joining most ID's are not told that they need liability insurance and also they need to make sure that if they use their car for business if they do not declare it then the insurance can be void.
Before any ID screams and shouts I dont need insurance what happens if you go into someones house walk dog poo allover their nice whit carpet?
I dare any ID to make a FOI request on just how many customers T+ have lost over the past five years?
Compared to years ago we were raking in £15.00 a month on the average business customer now its down to £2.00 which means if you do the Maths.... a lot more customers to make the same amount of money.

I've just googled Virgin Energy and I genuinely didn't know this company ever existed! What happened?
    [Geek mode]
They were a joint venture between Virgin and London Energy/EDF. EDF bought virgin out and soon rebranded them EDF energy and used that brand outside their home regions (London, SEEboard & SWEB) which kept their own names for a few years longer.
