Fortunately your opinion is not held in high regard on this forum.
You have never indulged in a little light hearted mocking yourself? - Or are your contributions humour?
I'm looking at the time and waiting for tonight's faux pas.
Ps It would be pointless me discussing humour with you. It would be akin to discussing acceptable foreign policy with Hitler. You are definitely a humour-free zone.Call me Carmine....

Now that has been a recurring theme in your 'mocking' posts aimed at several posters; but presumably that is your definition of humour.0 -

Like I said previously, discussing humour with you is pointless. But nice try all the same.
Can we get this back on topic?Call me Carmine....

I think carmine is right cardew. You don't understand the difference between sarcasm and humorous banter. At least you had a go at being funny, you just didn't quite pull it off.
Remember the AUWF rules 18 and 19.
I like the fact you had an attempt though, you just need to work at it. You should be trying to get people to smile not cringe. I know it looks like a similar expression but there are differences.
You see you have scared andybos off now.Quentin's Cashback Card?

You doubtless have had experienced plenty of the latter expression, as we all have read your(sadly deleted) 'poetry' - I use the term poetry in its loosest possible connotation!0 -

Its ironic that predictability is the preoccupation of the pedantic.
At least Maz liked the poems. The point of art is the it means different things for different people. It is subjective not absolute. The wise realise it takes a lifetime to realise their own shortcomings.
I deleted the posts myself. They got a laugh or two and so were worthwhile at the time.
I take it that when you say sadly deleted that you wish for more poetry.
I still haven't seen a poem from you. Can you put pen to your challenge and coerce a combination?Quentin's Cashback Card?

Time for a survey I think.
Who would like to see a poem authored by cardew (*)(**)?
*Web links to a poem by someone else isn't allowed.
**A short rhyme without a rhythm would do for a start.Quentin's Cashback Card?

I would love to just see Cardew post something that suggests he has a sense of humour. Maybe a joke or something? Or a funny picture
It all gets a bit po-faced on here at times but you can tell from the viewing figures it's basically THE most 'read thread' (TM) on the G&E forum so I think a bit of humour amongst the sniping and point scoring provides a bit of light relief.
Anyway......I see British Gas are still advertising Websaver3 as 'the cheapest online dual fuel tariff available at average consumption'. Misleading. Wrong. False. Naughty. Certainly in my region soundly beaten by the new tariff from that Big 6 company who were fined £2 million by Ofgem yesterday.I'll give you a clue who it is - I suspect they uttered the words 'sacre bleu' when they got news of the fine.
