Investment in what? Lets see £200 x 26,000 = £5,200,000.
UW was formed end of 2002. So from 2003-2009 (so far) they have averaged 4,300 new salesmen a year. So a profit each year of £866,000 for nothing. Like I said nice work if you can get it. Plus I take all UW salemen are self employed so UW are not liable for NI or any tax returns. Damn that's a good idea.
UW is a trading name. Telecom plus was started in 1997 / 8.
And how much do you think it costs the company to produce their materials including handbook, presenter file tariff booklets, brochures and all the other paraphernalia that a new ID gets. I doubt there's any profit made at all. Or do are under a delusion that new IDs receive just a piece of paper to say they are an ID.?:rotfl:
If you were prepared to do a little resaerch then you might be taken a little more seriously. Your last post show you haven't. You didnn't even know that the company started earlier than 2002.0 -
Good to see this thread continues to provide some great entertainment.
Keggs, do you mind me asking how you hurt your leg? I currently have visions of you running after a car so you can put a UW flyer in the wing mirror and getting run over.
I hope you'll be okay soon, whatever the cause.0 -
How about an investment in the opportunity to turn that initial £200, after some hard work and development, into a monthly commission of over £1000...or more. By the way Keggs, the commission statement has just arrived, so we can count our 'ill-gotten gains'!
I think you've missed the point about the £200. As long as all parties feel it's fair, then where is the problem?
Properly-recruited customers are satisfied with their deal - check.
Company gets to cheaply expand by growing salesforce - check.
Distributor gets a 'business in a box', unlimited training, the backing of a British company and the opportunity to generate a growing income for one-off initial investment - check.
How about some of that £5.2m being invested in administering the customer accounts, developing new services, investing in customer services...so that the network can go out and take even more to market.
Can't see the problem myself. Of course, there will be pure profit in there but that's business too. As long as everyone gets a fair deal, that's fine.
Let me guess - it didn't work for you did it?Utility Warehouse Distributor/Professional Network Marketer0 -

What part of them paying the £200 back to the distributors do you not understand?
I got my £200 back as I signed up 12 people within the 90 days. How have they made profit on me or the thousands of others like me?
I am sure not everybody got their £200 back, but if they were silly enough to invest the £200 without doing a bit of research first then you cannot really feel sorry for them can you?
Are you deliberately ignoring this? :rolleyes:0 -
It's all gone a bit quiet...Hi Arteta1878 - I'm a Blue myself too.
C'mon guys, you need to think of your retorts a little bit quicker...it's getting boring.Utility Warehouse Distributor/Professional Network Marketer0 -
Although doesn't a new salesman have to pay UW 200 quid? Nice work to have employee's paying you to work. Who said MLM was no different than the traditional business model.:rotfl:
I am not an employee, that's what the word "independent" is for. I can earn as much as I want to where nearly all employees in "normal" businesses can not.
Not me, it's much better than the traditional business model if a person is prepared to work.
I am an Independent Distributor with Utility Warehouse and any opinions expressed here are my own and may not be shared by the company. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

So of course it is true that UW gas and Electricity prices are amongst the very highest in UK.The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

Folks, I'm off.
I promised myself I wouldn't get drawn in to the 'debate' but couldn't resist!! I may lurk in future, but in all honesty I think any ID's should let this thread die. You look like an evangelical 'MLM-nutter' if you keep trying to change peoples minds...remember, you can't change people, they have to change themselves!
The anti-UW lot are just 'small' people, with nothing better to do than bait others and negate things they don't care to try to understand.
I have a life to get on with! Good luck with your businesses folksUtility Warehouse Distributor/Professional Network Marketer0 -

If you read back through this thread you will see that some of the uw reps have tried to diss the video (maybe they are ashamed of it becoming public) by claiming its not authorised by uw, Shannon isn't really a director at all, and is the product of a rogue rep who has hosted it on a secret website, (when in fact its all over the net)!
So its interesting to now get your confirmation it forms part of the official uw training!
You say people joining will earn far more than the person above them in the "pyramid".
The martini presentation on the video refers to someone joining up 3 friends can soon (apart from all the bonuses etc) have a (conservative) monthly income from the bills of customers signed up by their team of £6552 - this seems money for old rope, as all the work in recruiting is being done by people you don't know, who are friends of the friends of the 3 people you recruit!
So if you are saying the people below their recruiter earn more than the recruiter, how much extra than £6552 a month (for nothing) will they be getting?? (And sounds as if the uw pyramid is upside down if the lower ranks get paid more than the ones above them - or did I miss something?)0
