Every time the thread makes its way to the 2nd page I believe what are now termed by some as 'sockpuppets' (in other words, newly joined 'new' posters with an apparent agenda) post something incendiary to bring it right back up the pecking order again. It's uncanny. Talking of sockpuppets, whatever happened to Miss Muppet? 'She' was a 'one', wasn't she? Has 'she' served 'her' purpose? Energyman also? Comnemot (sp?)? There are loads of others as well.

And why is jimexbox so determined to demonstrate how little he actually knows about this company?

Off to see if Mr Murray is on yet.....

Those of us who are more open minded and better informed about how UW operates just wish to even up the debate by pointing out downsides - some financial, some moral.
That's the problem though. Certain members are not open minded. All companies have some faults and a lot of companies have good points. I believe that Utility Warehouse has more good points than bad. You obviously feel differently, that's fine. As to pointing out any possible down sides, the same people are just repeating their thoughts ad nauseum. I readily admit that some people will be better off with other providers, but, these same members can not bring themselves allow others freedom of choice when it suits their requirements.

    ...back so soon!

    Hi Quentin

Yes, or I did not make myself clear - sorry. Firstly, we do not get paid for recruiting people.

Secondly, lets say I recruit you. Each customer you gather may pay you £4 per month in commission, but I may only receive £0.50p. So even though I earn from your sales, I get a commission for helping the company grow but will never earn more than you for your own customer gathering efforts. In turn you can earn this smaller commission by building a team and helping the company expand too. Hope this is clearer.

Good to see this thread continues to provide some great entertainment.

Keggs, do you mind me asking how you hurt your leg? I currently have visions of you running after a car so you can put a UW flyer in the wing mirror and getting run over.

I hope you'll be okay soon, whatever the cause.

Unfortunately no. I woke up Saturday morning and couldn't walk properly. I thought it was a trapped nerve but one of pupils who is a trainee physiotherapist told me was muscular. I'm glad of that beacuse I do have arthritis in my knees - overuse injury based on 40 years competing and teaching Dance Sport.

That's one reason for me doing this business. I am developing my future pension / income when I finally can't do what I am doing anymore.

Thank you asking though. I am a fast runner (or was) but not that fast to tun after a car.

    Best wishes to you

If you read back through this thread you will see that some of the uw reps have tried to diss the video (maybe they are ashamed of it becoming public) by claiming its not authorised by uw, Shannon isn't really a director at all, and is the product of a rogue rep who has hosted it on a secret website, (when in fact its all over the net)!

So its interesting to now get your confirmation it forms part of the official uw training!

You say people joining will earn far more than the person above them in the "pyramid".

The martini presentation on the video refers to someone joining up 3 friends can soon (apart from all the bonuses etc) have a (conservative) monthly income from the bills of customers signed up by their team of £6552 - this seems money for old rope, as all the work in recruiting is being done by people you don't know, who are friends of the friends of the 3 people you recruit!

So if you are saying the people below their recruiter earn more than the recruiter, how much extra than £6552 a month (for nothing) will they be getting?? (And sounds as if the uw pyramid is upside down if the lower ranks get paid more than the ones above them - or did I miss something?)

You are :Aly boring now. Keep going Quentin. It's obviously better than taking tablets.

Yes, the apology that you owe me.

It is possible to earn more than the person who signs you up. I have seen it done a number of times within Utility Warehouse and other MLM companies.

Hi NigeWick, I know where you are going with this, but purely on personal customer gathering, I will always earn more than my sponsor on my PC than he will on my PC (as long as I satisfy the minimum monthly requirements).

Same company, different name to suit the change in utilities offered. The company started off with a smartbox for cheaper calls attached to the phone line. Now they offer phone lines, mobiles, broadband, electricity, gas and free phone facilities.

I am an Independent Distributor with Utility Warehouse and any opinions expressed here are my own and may not be shared by the company.
