As this is a money saving site, Quentin, why don't you just completely focus on that? stop your silly and childish obsession with how Telecom Plus operate, or just go to Trading Standards and get laughed at? Either is good :)

In truth though, why can't some of you just accept that UW is a good deal for some people? If it is not for you then fine, move on!

I appreciate this forum is open for debate, but some of you just keep droning the same old boring thing over and over again! I'd hate to have a beer with you, be asleep after a 3rd of a pint!

p.s. I was a distributor for UW, and my views are my own and nothing to do with the company,

Even Carmine admits he pays hugely more for his gas and electricity than he could pay with any of the big 6.

So of course it is true that UW gas and Electricity prices are amongst the very highest in UK.

:rotfl: This is lame even by your standards. I thought what you pay is shown at the BOTTOM of the bill not the top  Same as the amount shown at the top of your BT bill will not reflect what you pay - because you are given a discount for basically committing for another 18 months with no way out unless you pay up the remainder of your contract. Plus the potential for rapid hair loss by having to deal with their Indian call centre . bonk.gif No?

HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??

Your post seems purely to personally abuse me - if you had read the preceding pages you would see the debate has been about the pyramid type operation of uw.

My post was in answer to nigewick's claim that the on line videos aren't company policy and his claim that the company only pays out for sales.

The "martini" presentation clearly shows this is not the case, as it shows the big money only comes with recruiting others.

A question to the UW reps: if you sign up 10 distributors who don't manage to get one customer (and don't even sign up themselves as a customer), what sort of income would you make on these sign-ups?

Nothing. You only earn an income when they have signed up customers and the customers have paid their bills. So if they don't get any customers then we don't earn anything whether that's team building or residual income. Team building is a bonus paid to distributors for helping their teams members find customers. If they don't sign up customers then no team building bonus is paid.

The bottom line is customers have to be found and those customers have to pay their bills.

Finding customers is the only benchmark.

    Hope that helps.

Like any 'normal' business customers are everywhere. There is that enlightenment enough.

How do you consider that nugget enlightenment? I repeat yet again, Nigewick claims that UW salesman do not target friends and family, so where do you find your customers? I mean how many heart attacks can a rep fake before being carted away by the NHS? You obviously spend a small fortune in parking charges just to congratulate careful parkers, or even more in Greggs with the upside down badge sales technique.

I have people in my team who have never signed up customers or even signed up themselves. But that is par for the course with anything. People join Gym clubs with good intentions and then do nothing.

That said once you sign up someone to join your team you become a leader and therefore it is your responsibility to help your team member achieve their goals whatever they are. That's the whole point of any network marketing business. It's about you helping others to get what they want and in return you achieve what you want. Lead your team properly and your team will do the same as you. Do nothing and your team will do nothing unless they are highly driven and do it any way.

Unfortunately, people who decry any NM system don't seem to 'get' this.

No one achieves anything unless we are prepared to help others get what they want. By doing so they benefit, the upline benefits, the company benefits and if the company is worth its salt (whatever the company) the customer benefits.

So called Pyramid selling ISN'T about helping anyone but one person. Ironically this is exactly the way traditional business works. The only person that earns the most is the CEO or owner of a business. Everyone below in the pyramid earns less. RBS has just decidede to give its boss £9.6 million. He is at the top of his pyramid. What have RBS staff had to do recently the majority at the bottom of the pyramid - take a pay cut.

The only way to move up the ladder of a traditional business is to bypass someone in front of you on the ladder. But how do you do that.

A phrase comes to mind. The view for anyone climbing up the corporate ladder is the same for everyone. The view is a big fat bum in front of you. You might get round one bum only to find another one.

In network marketing there are no bums to stop you reaching the top. What matters is your own hard work. It's a complete level playing field for everyone. You can't buy a position in a NM scheme - that's illegal.

Alternatively, how much would UW gain from such a sterling effort? Oh yeah, a grand. Like I said fantastic work where you pay your employer to work. I wish I thought of that first.

I use company approved adverts or I talk to people I meet. I don't take a big stick or a knife or pretend to faint or pretend to have a heart attack or throw myself in front of a bus full of people.

As usual you are resorting to childish language. I don't pay a small fortune to car parks just to put cards on other cars either.

    Get real Jimexbox.
