The champion of UW states "my deal ----would cost £36.74"
and we are supposed to understand that he means "should I have a BT contract it would cost me ----)
Back to square one!
What should we understand from your statement that UW is £135 more expensive than EON?
As you say a classic!!
So what would your wireless deal with UW(with -you know) cost?0 -

Cardew, like I said before, you are getting yourself into a bit of a tizzy so desparate are you to prove yourself on here. This leads to mistakes like that, i.e. reading something you want to read without thinking about it calmly. Seriously, I'm appreciative of the fact you have a decent level of intelligence so am very surprised you didn't pick up on the £36.74 figure and stop yourself from this embarrassment. Let's be honest, that's a pretty random figure for me to produce out of the blue, don't you think? We have already established previously that your BT deal's *real* price is £36.74. Yes? That's what i would have to pay. With BT. For your deal. I can just imagine the sheer joy at you reading that post and exclaiming: 'Yay, Carmine has given me a price for the equivalent UW package. Oooh, it's BIG' :j Err, no. Oh dear. Where to go from here? To make it entirely clear, for you, I mean?

'All you really need to know about me is I'm far thicker than Tony Robinson...unlike some people.'
Even new BT customers don't actually pay BT's published prices!
:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

So far in the last couple of days you've labelled me as an '@rse hole' and 'thick'. Way to go. How old are you exactly?Should you *really* be living on your own as well?

Carmine,
Your post was to answer my questions, and to make it absolutely clear that you were answering those questions, you quoted them in your reply.

You stated that UW would indeed charge £135 more for your gas and electricity –
You also stated:

Given the question posed was how much would your UW package cost and you answer “my deal would be £36.74” , with your admission that UW’s gas would cost £135 extra, it is reasonable to assume that you your answer indeed refers to the UW package.
Instead it transpires that you meant if you were to get BT package it you believe it would cost £36.74.
Now it is perfectly obvious that your post was unclear and capable of being misunderstood.
However instead of admitting it was badly phrased, you launched into your normal insulting mode. e.g.
I'm going to be entirely serious now when I say I'm really worried about your state of mind currently, Cardew. I'm not joking or indeed trying to score points either.
Further hint: walk away from your PC and watch some TV with your family or summat. Chill out. Seriously. I genuinely feel guilty about winding you up to this state

We have seen the uw reps being urged to use (abuse) their friends by pretending to ask for their help, when they really intend flogging them utilities:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFyaiWOSXrE&feature=channel_page
But when they have exhausted their list of friends (or their friends are exhausted by them!) where to turn to?
Would you help a stranger lost and looking for directions? Of course. This is another training ploy put on line to motivate the troops who have no friends left to con. How low must you be prepared to stoop to get a customer?Just stopping people in the street to give them a card would be pretty weird so I've been stopping people or going up to them and asking where somewhere is such as...
Excuse me do you know where the Starbucks is I'm supposed to be meeting someone there....
After they have told you say thanks and then here you go this is for you it may help you out give me a call!
I carry Customer Micro cards in my right pocket and Distributor ones in my left and make a descision as to which I'll give out on my approach to them.
The most I've given out in one shopping trip is 6 so trying to beat that!0
