(On topic due to UW card discussion) This is getting crazy! We've had an online order from Sainsburys for the last 2 weeks but as we have too much food on our hands at the moment  we've held off this week and planned to get an order delivered next Tuesday. With their Basics range it really is quite staggering how much less we are paying than previously, I may even have to downgrade my projected UW card spend as the shopping bill is nowhere near what it was before! IMO far better quality than the value ranges from the other supermarkets we've used. Far more ethically-produced as well (they don't sell caged bird eggs and their salmon is RSPCA-approved, for instance). And the brilliant trafic light labelling system has shown us that in most cases the Basics range contains less fat/salt/sugar than the brand name equivalents.
Anyway, no idea whether it's because we've 'missed' this week's order but we've just received an evoucher from Sainsburys offering £15 off a £70 shop. Effectively over 21% discount on an already mega cheap shop! Needless to say we will be taking them up on the offer.
I note from several threads on the new Shopping Forum that many people are, like us, realising just how cheap Sainsburys seems to be these days. Seems like UW have timed their cashback card launch just right. Who needs Asda and Tesco?Call me Carmine....

I messed up.
You may recall that I was trying to help a Utility Warehouse customer with a problem he was having. I sent an e-mail via my sponsored web site and forgot about checking that e-mail address until today. DUH! I got a response from the head office on the 1st. I've sent the customer a PM and hopefully the company will sort this case to his satisfaction. I have asked him to let me know how he gets on.The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

I'm sorry, but due to the confidential nature of the service we provide, it would not be appropriate to disclose the identity of individual undercover officers.

LOL. Anyway, anyone who has already got the UW card may like to know that Sainsburys (in-store) are selling the Sony Bravia KDL-37U4000 37" LCD TV for an apparently bargainous £449.99 - with a 3 year warranty included. Cheaper than anywhere else I can see - plus, of course, £22.50 off your UW bill and literally loads of nectar points!
And as this is a G&E forum on a money saving site, very cheap to run:

I've just tried to make my monthly phonecall to Utility Warehouse to let them know that they've got it wrong, again, and they're flippin' closed!
Just fancied having a moan0 -

I suspect that quite a few companies will be closed for Easter weekend. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

No longer post on here but just thought I'd like to suggest that you contact the person who introduced you. Is it something they can do on your behalf?
