What are you saying by this - you feel someone who isn't taken in by the UW way of doing things (ie. keep it simple, give them the sale gaining headlines, the detail has them all tied up in the massive ts + cs which they won't bother reading), and takes the time to correct all the misinformation the uw reps try and foist on us (I recall you needed some help over the ts + cs over whether or not uw supplied free hardware (pigs/modems etc) or just loaned it or stung the customer when they left) - should be banned from posting here?

I think the 'willingness to stoop to pretty much any level' pretty much covers it. regardless, please scroll up a little for the apology I've already posted. Which, need I remind you, is more than you have done with regards to your false accusations.

So am I! I have noticed that since the 'challenge this price' posts arrived from yourself, myself and others the angle of 'attack' has shifted to how the product is sold.

exactly! the constant distraction and mis-direction in this thread could probably teach even big al a thing or two ;)
Even if UW could be proven to be the worst company in the whole world of commerce, Quentin has previously made it clear that he has no morals whilst on this board as this is a money saving site. As he's not currently claiming to have you on ignore, perhaps you could post your challenge again and let him use his legendary analytical powers and endless spare time to get you a better deal? Surely that would be the REAL result in this thread? If UW can be proven not to compete on price on a site peopled by extreme money savers, surely that's end of argument? We'll see..

I'll repost my proposed deal again. You never know, maybe one of the detractors will be shamed into action...

We'll see... I'll repost mine later perhaps, don't want to confuse the issue.

    So the challenge stands at...

The real question is why uw still see this as fertile ground
I do not believe that Utility Warehouse "see this as fertile ground." As far as I am aware, nobody actually employed by the company has posted here. I for one come here to let people, if they are interested, know about the benefits of the company. They are then free to make their own choice as to whether the company is for them or not.

As Cardew has admitted, if a customer is prepared to accept certain limitations, (s)he can pay less for utilities than with any other supplier. You have your preferences that influence your decisions as to where you spend your money. Other people have theirs. I have chosen to be a customer of Utility Warehouse because what they offer suits me.

I am an Independent Distributor with Utility Warehouse and any opinions expressed here are my own and may not be shared by the company.

Any business that encourages its reps to contact their good friends to ask for their help over work related training as a ruse to get them to sign up for "at least 4 services" is stooping as low as you can get!

How is it "abusive" to describe it as such? Only a uw rep seemingly sees it as just another acceptable way to do business.

Here's another video that demonstrates Group Director, Shannon Griffin booking a 'practice appointment', no doubt with a view to signing up a multi-service customer for at least four services, because that's what the top distributors do.

....another attempt to avoid the points made...

let me repost a few examples of 'willingness to stoop to pretty much any level'

    - selective quoting of meterial for example to imply UW is operating an illegal pyramid scam, even when the very same article include other (unquoted) material that completely destroyed that implication.

    - falsely accusing UW distributors of posting misleading information and then compounding this by repeating the accusation later after the UW distributor had been proved correct.

    - scouring the internet looking for any information you can take out of context or selectively quote to disparage UW to distract and misdirect when asked a question you cannot answer, such as 'suggest a better company' or 'suggest a company with a better range of customer benefits'

seems to me that your repeat posting of a link to a training video, intended to merely form part of a more complete training package, is simply a further example of the third point.

But why should this advertising free site allow you to come here for this purpose.

UW reps do use this site to try and sell the company, but we know they do not give the full picture, and we know from the training clips we have seen they don't give the full picture when they are presenting.

Keep it simple, avoid detail is the mantra from uw.

Fortunately you aren't allowed a free run in the forum, and are confined here where anyone taken in by the headlines has the advantage of getting a much fuller picture.

Shame the spanish teachers didn't come here before they agreed to this visit from the uw rep!!

And your problem with showing somebody, if they are interested, how to pay less for their utilities is?

I am not advertising, just answering questions that people may have about the benefits of Utility Warehouse. Perhaps you would like to use your research skills to help somebody else. I am sure Carmine will go with a better deal if you can find one for him.

You accuse me of being "abusive" by saying uw reps are prepared to stoop to any level to get business.

I illustrate an example of the worst abuse of a friendship which you are all encouraged to do, and you persist with the abusive accusation!

I gave you the solution if you interpret this as being abusive - just ignore my posts! Expressing increduility that I am "permitted" to post here rather takes the biscuit!
