No - read my post - you will see I point out the way ahead as mentioned at the end of the clip - all you reps are urged to "sign up" for his youtube channel where he intended to sell you all his secrets!!

I see, so your post was basically about a UW distributor who wants to sell some internet marketing scheme of some kind? If so, that's his business. Nothing to do with UW except that it does bring to light a possible motive for describing his UW experiences unfairly in order to promote his system as a 'better' option.

I've not bothered watching the rest of his videos so can't comment on his marketting system. Since it's entirely irrelevent anyway I won't bother.

    UW distributor.

I'm still just one person, and, ended up happy with them in the end.

I get my utilities from Utility Warehouse because I pay less with them than I would with any other supplier.

Nigel, every time you post this the following quote will appear:
You can repeat and repeat that UW suit you,(no doubt in the hope of influencing new readers) but the fact remains that UW's gas and electricity prices are amongst the very highest available.

No answer on which version of the atrocious service is correct?

    1) The original (you said you had some fairly atrocious experiences)

    2) The latest (when you say you only experienced one isolated incident)

Though we can see you have in a cynical move cleverly edited post#2221 which originally was:
You are clutching at straws. I once stated that I had a bad experience. I have since told you that I ended up happy with the company and the problem was sorted out to my satisfaction. I am just one customer out of hundreds of thousands, and, as previously noted, 83% of Utility Warehouse customers in an independent survey said they are satisfied with the company. I did not take part in that survey and am happy with Utility Warehouse.

If there is anybody here who does anything in a cynical manner, it is you. I believe your bigotry regarding the company is apparent to reasonable members of the forum.

The fact that UW have 26,000 distributors(plus friends and family) who all have a vested interest
How many of those people were eligible to be involved? British Gas, and all the other suppliers have many employees who have a vested interest too. I could have taken part in the survey but did not.

What about if I change the words? I used to be with British Gas but found they had overcharged my by some £440. I switched to Utility Warehouse and am now a satisfied customer.

The fact that UW have 26,000 distributors(plus friends and family) who all have a vested interest - namely cash - in voting for UW has nothing to do with the results?

    All unbiased opinions?

You can easily claim any company has representatives that could vote in a biased manner. Even if you choose to discount the high scores for UW as biased, it still doesn't alter the fact that the big 6 all achieved pretty poor scores.

Without evidence to back up your accusations, this would seem to be a libellous statement.

Well for my usage the very cheapest supplier according to a comparison site was a grand total of £19 cheaper for the year if we are ignoring addtional discounts.

It just so happens that the same company has a tariff £28 more expensive than the one I'm currently on.

If a sales rep from that company knocks on my door and signs me up, will I be put on the £19 cheaper tariff, or the £28 more expensive tariff?

Two misleading points in one post:

    1) You did NOT state you "once" had a bad experience. You stated you had "some" atrocious experiences. You have today now said there was only one bad experience, though will not say which post was the truth, and which was not the truth about your experiences.

    2) You fail to point out the 83% was out of 90 customers. Yet elsewhere refer to your hundreds of thousands. We have seen the "independent" reviews by uw customers elsewhere on the web, and of course the "independent" reviews of your customers who come here posing as just customers who "just found out" about the "great" uw.

No survey can possibly be called 'independent' where vested interests can vote; many of these surveys have no checks to prevent multiple votes by the same person.

As stated earlier in this thread, Arthur Scargill,(the miners leader and possibly at the time the most unpopular man in UK) was voted BBC 'Man of the Year' - the miners lodges all voted for him.

In France Jean-Marie Le Pen was voted France 'Man of the Year'.

These polls are now discontinued because of Vested interests voting.

In the Eurovision Song contest it was always an absolute certainty that Cyprus would vote the Greek singer as No1. They are having to change the voting rules because of the vested interests voting.

26,000 UW distributors, their friends and family have a vested interest in voting for UW

We have seen the "evidence" right here.

Time after time uw reps have come here and posed as satisfied customers.

Reps have even stooped to separate forum names - one a customer/prospective customer aqsking (in their one and only post) if anyone ever heard of this uw, then in their other id as uw rep able to give them all the usual info (usually including the worthless word "guaranteed")

(please note i know nothing about Nigewick's individual case, just talking in general terms)
Is it not possible that someone could describe a period of a few weeks involving several calls to customer service as a single bad experience and that that same person could at other times describe the individual calls/events during that period as 'some' bad experiences? Is it not also possible that this could be done naturally without any intent to mislead?

Is it not also possible this occurred to you but you will not pass up any opportunity to disparage UW, even if it means posting intentionally misleading comments/selective quotes and false accusations?

What would you suggest as a better overall company, with a general regard to customer service, ethics, price and convenience? I think you will ignore this question as I have asked many times for a suggestion of an overall better supplier and have received no adequate reply.
