As usual, you attempt to mislead.
No, I was simply asking a question. Yet again you make false accusations.
You say 'as usual'. Please give me a specific and detailed account of previous attempts to mislead or retract that statement. You will see in the post you quote an extract from,(making your extract out of context) I used "WE" as in the UW instructing you reps how to present:
Would you not agree that this is a somewhat hypocritical statement as you have a long standing history of selective quoting in this thread?
Not to mention your bracketed interpretations in that quote tend to be false and potentially libellous -
e.g...
-'never mention the monthly fee'. This is a lie. The presentation as taught in our training sessions covers the membership fee, the 3 levels of membership and the benefits included in those 3 levels as the first item after a general introduction to the company.
-'tell them they will save £500 to £600 by signing up'. This is a lie. We are expressly forbidden from telling potential customers how much they will save (we could after all get it wrong). We can only show typical savings calculated as explained in the service brochure and tariff guide. If anybody wants an exact figure the best I can do is leave them a copy of the tariff guide to work it out themselves.
-'tell them there is a guarantee (but never never tell them the small print that makes it worthless,'- This is a lie. UW distributors should be able to explain all three aspects of the tvg and that the comparision is made against standard rates (i.e. no duel fuel, online, loyalty, etc discounts included). You consider this guarantee worthless, I do not.
-liberally use extracts from "Which" (even though we aren't allowed to use it as a sales tool) -This is a lie. there are certain things we are not allowed to include in our own 'home made' presentations and advertising material. If I happen to have a copy of certain issues of a certain magazine in my bag I am free to show them to whomever I wish.
Why all this focus on the training videos anyway? Yes, UW have a sales force, yes they are taught sales techniques. What in this is new or interesting?
Are you simply trying to avoid mine or carmines challenge to propose a better deal than the UW offerings we have described?
Do you really detest UW that much that you resort to false accusations, selective and misleading quotes and scouring the internet for anything you feel will paint UW in a bad light? Whatever UW did to !!!! (urinate) you off that much, get over it. Seriously, it can't be good for your health to obsess this much.

SHOP AT SAINSBURYS, USE 'THE CARD', GET THE BEST DEAL ON YOUR UTILITIES...Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
I do like Big Al. But, aren't you supposed to register in order to gain access access to their videos?
You and big al should get on just fine.
Google leads to lots of the uw videos - here's another shocker off youtube, training you on how easy it is to get more contacts:

All your gullible customers should beware giving you their relatives phone numbers to pester when there's a hidden camera in the room! Next thing, their numbers are plastered over the net, as well as video of Pat getting close on the sofa to Sonia!0 -
TBH Carmine isn't that the sort of mind manipulation recommended by Big Al, and lapped up by his willing apostoles?0

Absolutely no idea, mate, I've never clicked on one of Quentin's links (on the life of my kids). But, and I'm saddened I have to point this out, the post was meant in jest. Oh well....:rolleyes:Call me Carmine....

If you mean humorous, exaggerated and in no way actually able to control minds, then yep, I suppose it is.
As for willing apostles. erm... what?
It's funny really. Some people to assume that simply by signing a piece of paper and handing over 200 quid we suddenly turn into some kind of evil manipulative conmen, desperate to consume the world in our evil empire.
Sorry to dissappoint, but we're just people. that's all. For many (possibly most) UW distributors it is nothing more than a part time gig to earn a little extra cash. Most of us have full time jobs (I'm in IT myself, I know of others that are electricians, plumbers, policemen, teachers.. anybody really) and just drop UW into converstations when we get the chance.
C'mon people, time for a reality check.

Previously when you have been unhappy about detrimental comments about the uw's behaviour you have asked for "sources", and been given them.
Now you call me a liar, even though the evidence is there in the video link:
http://www.networkerplus.co.uk/videos/signing-customers.html
And in the accompanying blurb to the video:This particular customer sign-up was recorded live, warts 'n' all and took less than 15 minutes. Take note of Gary's polite, yet assertive approach and the fact that there is very little detail in his presentation
1) The club membership and fee was never mentioned throughout.
2) He claimed straight away he would save them £500, (without bothering to do any comparison with whoever they were currently with), then upped it to £620 by saying the savings they would make on adding their telephone.
3) He told them about the guarantee, using it as a "sales tool", but never went into the small print.
4) Which? states:Commercial use of our content is not permitted0 -
.About those links you have posted. Did you read this "All content within this site is subject to copyright - access to which is only available to registered members." and clear your usage with the site owner(s) before posting them?
As it doesn't say that, I couldn't read that!
Are you saying there are some more uw videos available on the net which show them and their reps in an even worse light which you have to register to be allowed to view them?0 -

Any reason why not?
TBH Carmine, I really do find your rationale difficult to understand.
Nobody would argue with your contention that by spending £9,000pa on the cashcard you can get a good deal on your Utilities.
Without going over previous disputes we have had, I think you would agree that you have been the arch critic of the Utility companies.
However you have taken a stance to support UW, and took it long before the introduction of the cashcard. I think we both appreciate why you took that stance initially.
Can you honestly say that if BG had published a guarantee as worthless as UW’s Triple value guarantee, and it was pushed relentlessly by employees, you wouldn’t have been up in arms.
You are clearly a sharp cookie, and I cannot believe other than that the whole ‘modus operandi’ of UW would make you shudder – their promises, sales techniques etc, yet you have become their fiercest defender.
I really hope that you have not been compromised by your impending(?) defection to the ranks of UW distributor.
Have a look at the latest video and give us your opinion. http://www.networkerplus.co.uk/videos/signing-customers.html0 -

That does not answer my question, which was:- Did you read this "All content within this site is subject to copyright - access to which is only available to registered members." and clear your usage with the site owner(s) before posting them? The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.
