See how the carefully selected quote and quentin's statements imply UW is an illegal pyramid scam.

I didn't "imply" anything at all.

I pointed out that the uw martini presentation uses that very example of all "pyramid presentations":
one thing that they all have in common, they will draw charts showing vast wealth in short time, from, it would appear, quite modest numbers of people in your downline.

The the uw martini presentation is exactly showing that - the rep actually is trained to draw the charts (any time any place) on beermats, backs of envelopes etc, and we can all see it being done either in that training video, or this "live" demonstration:

An over-active imagination combined with paranoia. Phew, what a combination.

hmm... lets see... £5 - £45 bonus for signing up a customer. Not vast wealth with only modest numbers of customers.

CVC - (small monthly % commission on customer spend) - not vast wealth with modest numbers of customers.

SE Gold Bonuses - £1000ish potential bonuses if you can get 50 customers and 3 distributors within 60 days. Each individual reader can form their own view on whether this counts as modest numbers. I dispute any claim that a one off £1000 bonus constitutes vast wealth.

Group CVC (very small % on group customer spend) - involves dozens/hundreds of recruits in addition to hundreds/thousands of customers to achieve anything realistically describable as 'vast wealth'. I dispute any claim the presentation implies this is achievable in a short time with modest numbers of recruits.

Ok, shall we add this to the list of misleading claims you have made but refuse to retract or apologise for?

If it were UW distributors who have been brainwashed, you would expect them to start acting strange and being paranoid. So how come quentin acts strange and paranoid. Is it the mere watching of that video that has made him act like this. I think he better stop watching that networker video if it has that effect on him.

    He will say,

"I am not paranoid. My friend the fairy told me."

    from the networkerplus front page-

    "Utility Warehouse (Telecom plus)
    Independent Distributor - online support...
...a site by distributors for the benefit of distributors"

I happen to have met the INDEPENDENT distributor who runs the site. Nice chap.

On the front page it also says:
NetworkerPlus.co.uk is for the benefit of Utility Warehouse Independent Distributors.

Are you suggesting this enormous site is paid for by just one guy, and is totally independent from uw?

When it suits uw they do this (say it's not me guv, it's one of our independent distributors)

eg. In answer to the ASA when misleading leaflets have been reported suggesting uw is the cheapest

or when it is pointed out that uw does pay switching sites the answer given is that its a rogue distributor doing this in the name of the uw.

    Very clever!

I take it Quentin either cannot see my posts, ignoring them or more likely he is too busy ranting on about a circular argument that he hasn't got time to say anything.

yes. Although I believe another distributor from an IT background helped him create it.

More accusations. I should note as independent distributors we are expressly forbidden from creating and using our own marketing materials unless we get them checked out by head office first. It's possible some distributors ignore this (at least until they get their distributorship terminated)

Please provide proof that UW knowingly allowed IDs to use unofficial leaflets or retract your accusation (i know you won't, have to give you the opportunity though).

You again attempt to mislead by implying UW is complicit in this arrangement. It seemed to me that Mr Egan is a UW distributor. He probably neglected to mention that he was also a director of UK power in his application. His link to his UW hosted site appears to me to be a breach of his contract with UW. If anybody is at fault here it seems likely that it is UK power or Mr Egan. Yet you persist in blaming UW. Will you blame them for global warming and children starving in africa too?

How about we set aside the aimless nitpicking and circular arguments and try to find a utility supplier that offers it's long term customers a better service and range of benefits than UW?

I blame Canada myself. It's all their fault not mine.

And so you know why I blame Canada?

It's because they are Canadian of course.
