Further to my previous post, I have now had a quick look through the UW T&Cs and can't find a reference to the router having to be returned. Please provide a source for that statement.

I haven't checked the T&Cs so I'll take it on your word (for now) that the router is 'on loan'...................Not forced at all. I made a conscious choice
You confirm the image we have been given that uw reps have no product knowledge, not just of their market, but their own products!
Presumably you glibly tell your contacts they get free hardware if they take your broadband, without making it clear it is just a free loan of the hardware and it must be returned (or paid for) when they leave.
(Many ex-customers have reported their shock on being invoiced for their uw pig when they moved away to somewhere cheaper, even though the pig had long since been made redundant when uw went to cps, and told the customer to unplug their pig!)

You are "forced" to take extra services if you want the extra discounts you say you enjoy.
In fact there are no true discounts for taking more services. The only customers that you give any concession to are those with the phone service. Then to reward them for taking your other expensive services you include their phone calls for certain time periods, depending on how many they take.0 -

Why you bothering now to get a bit of product knowlege?
Uw urges its reps not to bother with the detail! The Company's very top distributors do not get hung up on the detail and their approach is simple and top-line. This excellent video by Wes Linden demonstrates this fact very well. Highly recommended

No. I looked at the services and the benefits and I then CHOSE which services I wanted to sign up for. At no time did anybody force me to do anything. In fact there are no true discounts for taking more services. The only customers that you give any concession to are those with the phone service. Is that statement intentionally misleading?
I've already listed several benefits which are not limited to UWs home phone/broadcall customers - customer discount plan, cashback card, excellent customer service, convenient billing, peace of mind on energy prices, accidental death benefit (silver + gold members), benefits directory. (see previous post on last page for more detailed explanations)

http://www.networkerplus.co.uk/videos/no-detail-required.html[/strike] a blatant attempt to avoid the question
Please provide a source for the unsupported statements you have made or retract them. We wouldn't want to intentionally mislead anyone would we?

Why not spend a rewarding couple of days learning your own company's ts + cs?
You presumably urge your contacts to do so before signing your membership application and saying they agree to them.0 -

Why not provide a source for your unsupported claims, or retract them if you can't. Why not also apologise for your false accusation.

You not know how to search?
Here's links to a couple of threads on the uw demanding £30 for their redundant pigs. From the comments you see very little changes in the world of uw:

Now you got some sources, what you going to do to retrieve the further loss of face to both yourself and uw by insisting on being given them?0 -
Play nicely guys!

Hi Quentin
Just to let the others know, your comment on the routers is accurate. The small print does state...Free fixed routers, wireless routers and USB adaptors provided by us remain our property at all times and must be returned to us at your expense in the event you decide to terminate this service in addition to any early termination fees which may be payable.
Interestingly, my mum (a relative) was recently upgraded to LLU with UW and there was no requirement to return her existing equipment.
Best wishes
