Where did the mention of £1000 bonus for just 3 names joining up as reps come from?

    Answer found here:

    http://www.networkerplus.co.uk/videos/gary-martini.html

So, not paying attention then. If you watched the video you'll note a total of 50 customers between them.

Incidentally, how is this relevent anyway? How many people choose their energy (or telephony/internet) supplier based on the supplier's salary/comission structure?

Decado23, don't worry, the crazy double act actually DO get it, you know. It's just that both of them have dug themselves into such a HUGE hole previously before the cashback card was introduced as all they banged on about was price all the time. The cashback card has blown a hole the size of Australia in their argument. Blown it away. Shredded it. As John Cleese might have said, it is a late argument, it has gone to meet its maker, this argument is no more. Most sensible organisms would have quietly retreated to pastures new, and pretended their posts weren't still visible on their posting history but these 2 are so incredibly full of self-importance they just can't do that. It's an ego thing. So they keep digging the hole. It's as amusing as it is sad to witness.

If they DO work, I just wonder who's picking up the tab for all this online macho posturing. Glad it aint me.

More cynical misinformation from a uw rep (a professional in the energy business!)

Npower do pay annual discounts for direct debit customers of £21 per fuel. (So the maximum involved in your example is £42 - if you are quoting their figures for dual fuel - not the £100 you cynically quote).

Good job for you the competition can't be bothered to correct your misleading post - and a good job the ASA doesn't intervene over misleading claims made by the uw on the net. (Though it has of course caught them making false claims in their adverts, and then hauled them over the coals for it).

    from energyhelpline:
"Direct Debit discount of £21 per year for gas and £21 for electricity. Dual fuel discount of £63 per year. Total discount of £105 per year. "

    from npower http://www.npower.com/web/At_home/electricity_and_gas/prices_and_discounts/Discounts/index.htm

    Monthly
    Direct DebitElectricity & gas£100Monthly
    Direct DebitElectricity£20Monthly
    Direct DebitGas£20

Please check your sources before making accusations.

Oh dear. Care to have ANOTHER go?

Direct Debit discount of £21 per year for gas and £21 for electricity. Dual fuel discount of £63 per year. Total discount of £105 per year.

The savings quoted include any discounts associated with this tariff. The discounts will be paid to you annually in arrears from your final bill of each 12-month period. To qualify, you must take your supply from npower and pay by the same payment method for a full 12 month period – this period does not have to be a Jan-Dec calendar year. Customers signing up to this tariff will receive paperless billing.

Why do you ask if its relevant - if you read the posts you would have seen its relevance was to the disparaging way Vinny was accused of wasting his many talents on just being a utility salesman.

Isn't the whole idea of the martini presentation that being a uw rep can mean so much more?

From the extra insight you give us, if vinny gets 50 electricity customers at £2.50 a time, then he gets paid £125, but you say if he gets 3 reps, and they get the 50 between the 4 of then, then he'd get a grand!!

If each of the 4 get at least 12 customers, and there's a total of 50 or more in the group, and all this is achieved within 60 days of him first signing up, then yes, he could get a grand in bonuses.

I still don't get how the commission structure is relevent.

Shouldn't Quentin be attempting to back up his npower SOL14 £42 annual discount claim? Surely not doing so leads us to believe he's the master of misleading info?

PS Don't let him off the hook, he pretends to ignore my posts!
