Are this UW any good then as I'm thinking of switching suppliers0

Hi dacouch
If you are just considering switching your gas / lecci, then it is probable that you can get a cheaper deal elsewhere. If you are looking at a broader picture, then have a look at their website and see what else they have to offer.
Happy switching

If you don't like the rules, you shouldn't join the club. We are told your company doesn't like their reps bringing the company into disrepute. You recently touted for business via the pm systemNo, I didn't. Prove it.

My own personal experience of the Directors of U.W.D.C. is that is what they try to do. Now the company isn't just sitting still with the directors resting on their laurels. It is moving forward and for instance CEO Charles Wigoder is just the sort of person who continuously tries to better what he does and how the company acts. He would welcome scrutiny simply because no one is perfect. Charles does know how to grow a successful company and has plans for the future that have been in place for the last few years. There are a number of new things to introduce that have been held back until the time is right. I honestly believe Charles deserves the success he has found because of the work and effort he has put in. He is never complacent though and never stands still in his quest to grow a very successful company even though it is different to the normal establishment. It his out-of-the-box mentality and intelleligence that has grown U.W.D.C. so far and I am sure he thinks everyday on ways to improve things, because thats exactly what has happened.

Sycophantic contributions as above might get you a to drive a company mini, but make me shudder!0 -

Forget about being for or against UW.
Since joining MSE, that has to be the saddest post I've read. It reads as though they have got you under some sort of spell.0 -
Its like some weird cult - everyone worships the great God 'Charles'Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE Forum Team0

Quintin, lol. This is such a weird site Quintin probably already is a UW customer, distributor even.
Anyway, an update on my ongoing research into making UW the cheapest supplier for me. We've made our first online Sainsburys order (coming Wednesday) and were staggered to be informed by the amazing https://www.mysupermarket.co.uk that it would have cost us 25% more at both Asda and Tesco (100% more at Ocado!!) Seems like it's not just our utilities we will be saving on. Would never have really considered Sainsburys if not for UW, so thanks, UW.
PS Our order includes 960 fairtade tea bags for the princely sum of £3.36! Just £65 spent per week on the UW card at Sainsburys for groceries/electricals etc and petrol (not forgetting the other 29 stores in the scheme) will give us the cheapest utility bill on the market, including online deals. A no-brainer. Plus it will c.ock a snoop at the Big 6, who most of us spend our time complaining about on here.Call me Carmine....

Hmmm, those are interesting numbers 1carminestocky.
I could even be tempted over to the dark side! The down-side is that Sainsbury's would be a bit of a drive for us to do our weekly shop, as Asda is only a mile down the road. When our fixed term comes to an end with our current utilities provider, I'll do the figures to see if it will be cheaper for me.
My fear is that if I become a UW customer I'll end up posting like vinnyph. I don't want to die in a Waco type siege.0 -

If you read the 2 great posts(#417 & #419) by 'conmenot' in this thread it goes a long way toward explaining how someone can post such drivel and not be embarrassed.0
