The reason is because, by his own accounts, he has reached the top in several professions.
Everything is wrong about his boastful claim to be a top projects manager in the Ministry of Defence - the terminology, the content - the phrasing - everything.
Now he made the claim, but refuses to give any detail - his grade, what area, what district, what equipment? Given his persona he would have jumped at the chance to prove his claim - but deafening silence! Frankly the whole claim IMO was bull**** as indeed are so many of his claims.
However at least he admits to being a UW salesman!!!!!0 -
I just went out yesterday because I guess I have friends and it appears you only have your other keyboard vigilantes to talk to.
Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me. You can bluff and bluster all you want and sometimes it even seems quite believable but at the end of the day, I pay around £600 a year for Gas, Electricity, Telephone and Broadband including the UWDC discounts. Of course I am not wasteful on my energy consumption. If I get a good deal it's only plausable that many others can also. I look for people it will be good for. If it will not benefit someone then I tell them so. They often want to sign up anyway because they trust me, so should I stop them.
A few months ago I suggested kippen noedel could find ways to reduce his very high 48000kwhs gas usage. That's the highest domestic usage I have ever seen, and yet he calls my usage weird. How many thousands is he paying each year.
Cardew seems jealous of the job I used to do. Maybe he should get out more. I still wonder why kippen noedel actually posts on here, I am yet to see any constructive input.
Be interesting just how much more you actually pay especially in this cold weather we have been having, yet your logic 'dictates' that I must be on a bad deal because the theory you have made up is UWDC=expensive without looking any further. Well I think I will stay with UWDC because I would end up paying much more if I moved elsewhere. The UWDC express day is coming soon in April so it will be interesting what additional services, discounts and benefits Charles Wigoder will come up with. It's been 18 months since the last one and I know he hasn't been idle.
Here's thinking of you. I am off out again.

Long Term UWDC Customer and Distributor
I am not a vigilante - I am UW customer who is currently getting screwed by UW. I have had my boiler checked out etc to try and figure why my bills are so high, i thought i must be a high user but the boiler checker man has checked my usage and says that it is not the boiler but the rate i am being charged by UW. My accountant father in law has also done the maths and he agrees.
I understand you are defensive about your business, you do not want to lose it but UW is not for all so do not pretend that all customers will benefit. Customers should check first before signing on the dotted line.
I live in a 3 bed flat, am out during the day etc and our dual fuel charge from the UW Dec 2008-Dec 2009 was £2500. Now that is not good value! we were paying £137 pcm - what they asked to us to pay, we sent them our readings etc and then this month were received a catch up bill of over £1000 and a letter stating that as we were in a arrears we were no longer in the discount club. We had never missed a payment over the 2 years.
I resent your attitude to people like me who you think are putting off others with no real reason for it.2013 TARGET £30k

Lemma were your bills based on actual or estimated readings?
They seem incredibly high for a flat. Do you know what your annual consumption ( in Kilowatt hours) is for gas and electricity? That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

One of your most pathetic of suggestions was that I should spend enough money on the UW card to get a less than £30 cashback, which by your account would be enough to ofset the extra £1900+ I would have to pay to be a customer with UW.48000kwhs gas usage. The bill was based on actual readings. Admittedly we live in a large 3 bed flat - but we are paying far more now than we did in our first year with them when we lived in a 4 bed house.
We have disputed the bill.
I do have a note of our actual usage somewhere according to their calculations. I shall try and find it.2013 TARGET £30k

I feel I ought to come to the defence of UW;)
I suspect someone paying UW £2,500 pa would only get that for £700 to £800 less with the cheapest supplier!0 -

Oh yes, I remember the stupid and inane suggestions you made clearly, culminating in your bringing religion into the thread for no reason other than your own delusion..
One of your most pathetic of suggestions was that I should spend enough money on the UW card to get a less than £30 cashback, which by your account would be enough to ofset the extra £1900+ I would have to pay to be a customer with UW.
Funnily enough I know quite a few people who use more and if you read other threads on here you would know that there are plenty of people, I would bet anything you like that your weird 90% night rate usage is far rarer than mine.
Try actually reading some of the posts, you have a penchant for delusion, so I think you probably have read why I am here but conjured up your own reason instead. I have already stated in this thread why I am here. Of course we all know why your here, to spout the UW salesman mantra
so please elucidate, dispel my theory, I thought that the comparison sites were an essential component in discovering the truth about UW prices, plus of course I have actually read the offerings from UW, how else do you think I know that their best tariffs are so very expensive in comparison to other companies best tariffs or that as far as I know they are THE MOST EXPENSIVE for customers using prepay meters, or do you deny that FACT, has the situation changed are they no longer THE MOST EXPENSIVE.
I notice that when someone replies to your drivel you spout the only thing you can do is twist things around. As I suggested before you bring nothing to this forum. You just prove that to be the case
