Another NSD for me :j two in a row btw! woop!

Honestly, if I can make it til lunch time without spending anything, then I've lasted all day!

Tonight I will be making something with butternut squash (already posted on OS cos I'm not sure what to do with it)

Oh, and I bought a new casserole dish this morning from ebay, the Daily deal from House of Fraser. Oven to hob 27cm casserole dish for £18.99, literally cannot wait for it to be delivered!!
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

I have chucked the chicken in the SC and poured a jar of mango sauce (courtsey od Appr0ved F00ds) over the top of it. I am probably going to do roast veg to go with it.

Thinking of turning the left overs into a curry type dish.

I'm so proud of myself. It's almost the end of April and I've just bought 2 weeks worth of shopping and have only spent £100.56 out of my £150 budget

Depending on how busy the chaps are it is usually around the 25th. You can start posting on here for May and then transfer over when the new thread is up, that's what most of the posters do.

    Hi

    An update is long overdue!
I only needed some bread and bananas today as I had a Sa*nsbury shop yesterday which is meant to last 'til the end of the month.

My total is now £367.77/£400 so I have £35.23 left for April - or £3.20 a day - hmm....

Anyway, I have a menu plan, most of the stuff I need in and will try and use some stuff up and bake (the cornmeal is still there!!).

    Hope April's going well.
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.

Spent £15 odd in co-op, they had blocks of cheese (Wykes, 320g) on BOG2F so that worked out at £3.99 for 960g, which is under my £5 a kilo cheese price target! (£4.15 a kilo in fact!)
Bought 6. May go back for more for the freezer, we get through SO much cheese.
June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500
