I have to sort out my receipts etc today and update but I've spent a fair bit on YS meat over the last two days:o It was just too good to leave it there.
Both freezers are now jam packed and I think we have about 3 months of meals in there. I would do an inventory but I'd never get it back in :rotfl:
We need to spend almost nothing for a good few weeks as the cat is off to the vet today needing her teeth cleaned and an infected teet removing so in the £200 bracket I think.:eek:I was off to conquer the world but I got distracted by something sparkly

Well another £8.32 spent on bits and pieces, popped into Morrisons to get my missing kidney beans for my chilli and picked up some sour cream to go with it for it a change. Also spent another £3 on Pepsi Max, this is my vice. I must go through at least 7 bottles a week so always try and get it when its on offer.
Have planned my meals for next week to include the girls pack lunch. According to Tesco online the total is £43.09 but I have my £5 off voucher to use before Sunday. Hopefully will get my tax credits tomorrow so I can do a shop. At the moment I've living from day to day as they have been so random with their payments since I told them the ex has left, I wish they would stick to regular payments so I know where I am going.0 -

Well, I've just looked at the month's finances after a very expensive week of visitors and half term and they're not very healthy:o
So my aim for this week is to only spend £10 on groceries. Now that may sound quite hard but I do have quite a bit in the freezer and cupboards and so I'm going to try to use this up as much as possible. I think I'll only need some fruit and veg and cereal bars for work and maybe the odd tin. I'm not going to go to a supermarket as I know I'll spend spend spend if I do. The greengrocers and local shop will have to do. The dog has plenty in and I think I have enough toiletries and household stuff to keep me going. Famous last words.0 -
Morning all
Just updated my spends with £26.62 in Ald* and £5.10 in Mr T's .
Going to clear out my kitchen today and will be using freezing and larder items for the rest of the month apart from a few bits and pieces. Have some baking to do for packed lunches starting Monday and will get the BM out and ready to roll

Yesterday I spent £1.55 on fc milk and also bought an 'unnecessary' special offer of 2 choc puds, for £1, from local PO/Spur. Advice wanted! Over the past year or so, I have accumulated about 8 of the individual plastic pud basins - no tops.
I've saved them to make my own sponge/suet puds to freeze. Anyone know - is it best to freeze these raw or cooked? I plan to micro one when required.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday had Chicken Supreme n boiled rice, using LO chicken from roast on Sunday and hm sauce (roux, milk, chicken 0xo + splash of d cream). Yesterday, I used the last of the LO chicken + some !celand Cooked Frozen Diced Chicken Breast n a jar of previously whoopsied Sharweed's Korma Sauce n added sultanas. Enough for 4/5 meals. (I'm happy to eat curry endlessly, especially as my 30 Strawberry plants have just arrived n I need to be in the garden all day!) Might make some hm naan breads to go with the Korma n freeze.
I also boiled up the chicken carcass on Monday and got a pint of jellied stock for freezing - unflavoured/seasoned for more versatility. :ANeeds, NOT wants!
No food waste since November 2010. :j
