Decisions, decisions - just cooked the pizza base using the leftover dough from last nights dinner which was chinatown char sui buns. And I've just tasted a little bit of it and i forgot that yesterdays dough had sugar in it
And I'm not sure a sweet pizza base works. Especially with cheese etc.
So do i add the toppings - hm tomato sauce, cheese, and fresh basil - and hope for the best, or do I cut my loses, give this to the birds and quickly make another pizza dough for dinner?
Any ideas what I can do with the pizza base? Anyone have any ideas 4 sweet pizza?
Thanks

:jUpdate on the microwave! I went back to A*g*s armed with receipts and the instruction books from both items which are identical and have the numbers on them. The member of staff was also convinced by this that they were indeed the same and looked up the details of the old one. Eventually she found an onscreen message that they had been "integrated". So I got a £15 refund today and as a result of yesterday I had the £10 voucher off of my new insurance. So-All Ive now paid is £10 and a 64p bar of choclate to get it replaced with 3 years cover. :jYes-I am a happy bunny! :jThat is what I was after!(ripped off on the chocolate tho):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Still no washbaskets in H***B**e to replace mine-I will persevere!Lesson-no means not today-not never!(I was told that many years ago):D

Knickers - have gone over budget this week by £10.37!!
Went to Mr T with friend as she wanted some mince and my DD was with us. Asked if she could buy a sandwich but said no as we would be going home soon. She then asked what was for tea and without a thought asked if she wanted to make her own pizza (bought 2 pizza bases in B&M last week). The conversation then went like this:
DD - Do we have sweetcorn?
Me - No
DD - Do we have chirizo?
Me - No
DD - Do we have pepperoni?
Me - No
So yes, you've guessed it, my cheap tea of making our own pizzas come in at the grand old total of £7.37:mad:
Should have let her buy the sandwich as would have been alot cheaper:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying!:rotfl:

Thanku to orkneystar and angelatgraceland you gave me the confidence to give it a go. And the pizza worked:j
I spead the base with homemade tomato pasta sauce, added some leftover ham and cheese, baked it and then sprinkled everything with a few torn fresh basil leaves.
Ok so the base was thicker than I like - I'm a thin pizza base girl - but considering I was going to give it to the birds a few hours ago I'm sooo pleased.
Im a caffeine addict but I dislike the taste of instant coffee. So I'm constantly on the hunt for ground coffee thats on offer. Waitrose has my favourite on offer at the moment so Ive stoked up on that and a few other bits and pieces.
So that's £24.26

Had a lovely dinner of pasta bolognese today. Did it slightly differently, as I didn't want any leftovers; children are going to their dad's tomorrow for the weekend, and I have tons of stuff to use up already. Did 125g of beef mince, a couple of spoonfuls of baked beans, a couple of spoonfuls of pasta sauce (from pizzas yest) and a squirt of tomato puree. Oh, and some bendy onion. Did the pasta in my new microwave.
Had a small spend today; went to town and got two bottles of enrituals, one of each flavour, and 10 bags of 15p pasta!
My friend is coming over tomorrow for the evening, and we're going to have a good old knees up! I had a 36 hour hangover last time, so I'm going to have lots of water this time... I already have most things we'll want in, and she's going to bring mixers and nibbles. Got the makings for a great evening!!
On a sad note, we can't find the dvd remote control!!! We had it this afternoon, and now we don't know where it is! What is up with that?! All three of us had a search, and nothing! Oh well...
Night all!
