    Morning, you thrifty lot:wave:

Florenceem, how do you stop your wedges from sticking to the tray? Mine always seem to stick no matter what I do?

I have LOADS of pizza dough left over in the fridge. Am gonna freeze it as I want a fresh batch ready for tomorrow's movie night. Yesterday was just a trial run. Will use the UK version posted yesterday. Will probably get on much better with that!

    By the way, everyone....

B&M are selling Pizza Express pasta sauce for 49p a jar and it is the nicest sauce for pizza topping that I have EVER tried. Even better than home made. It is so thick and tasty. It is aubergine but you can't see it in the sauce. (The kids will never know!)
49p is cheaper than a decent tin of toms so why make your own when it's that good for that price?!

Thought I'd mention it here whilst we are on the home made pizza topic!!!

I have really stocked up on it as it has a decent date on. :T
I just - toss dried wedges - that bit is important - need to dry really well on tea towel - in virgin olive oil - 99p shop. I use a Prestige non stick baking sheet - I think it was £5.99 in Wilkos. I have had cheaper baking sheets - warp and don't last long.

I was intending to have a food shop delivered today but I have had such a busy week that I simply haven't had chance to sit down and shop!

I spent £9.50 in Ice Land on Thursday - which was my first proper food shop of the month but I far exceeded that today by spending over £40 in m & $. Feel quite cross with myself now but if we had gone out for a meal, we would have spent much more....

Need to start meal planning properly again not only to save food budget but to help my slimming world efforts. will probably start food budget from Tuesday.

Weekly shop done as Mr A. Much higher than usual at £73.18 (sig updated) but I am hoping I have done a full shop for the week so no need for top ups. Well, I may needed milk later on as my family are eating their own weight in rice pudding and porridge at present (chilly weather!). I may be being over ambitious as it may go all wrong as dh and 3dc are at home this coming week. :rotfl:

Enjoy the long weekend everyone :T.

I meant to say thanks to whoever posted that the pizza express stuff is in b&m. I went in there today to get some batteries, and got two of those sauces. Hope they're as good on pizzas as you say they are!! They only had two there, and the person in front of me had some too, and I was going to ask her if she reads this thread!

I went onto te$co online, and they didn't have the enrituals stuff either, so I guess it's not in every store, more's the pity.

Meal plan has already changed! Both lunch and dinner were changed today. Lunch was a packet pasta mix thing (ood) so that was good, and dinner was poorly dinner as requested by dd, which has used up the last two of the old potatoes. This has saved an in date tomato soup and a chicken risotto for another time!

I haven't eaten yet, I'm just about to nuke the lo potato, and shove some cheese and salad with it. cba to do anything else, to be honest. I normally eat with the children, but I didn't feel hungry at all when it was dinner time. I don't feel hungry now really, but I know I should eat something. (totm stuff, blurgh!)

    Night all,

    PG x

ETA - It was jumblejack - thank you!!

Fantastic!! Will definitely get one of these! Cheers.
Update on Jamie Oliver dough mix (UK version)...
    WOW!
Definitely the best pizza dough ever. The US version was by volume and was not as moist due to it being more difficult to gauge measurements. This is as good as Dominoes!:T
Tried it tonight with the Pizza Express pasta sauce from B&M, chorizo, pineapple, red onion, mature cheddar, parmasan and brushed the crusts with garlic butter, mmmmm!!!!
I'm never gonna get take out again! Will make sure I always have some dough ready to roll in the freezer.

B&M. It does 2 regular or 3 small pizzas and is LUSH:)
It has aubergine in but you would never know. The kids would never suspect either. It has the most amazing rich, deep flavour:)

Its RRP is £1.99 for a 350g jar:

    Yet another NSD.
We had roast pork, roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding, carrots, cauliflower and leek with gravy for dinner. Trying to eek out the 2.5 kg bag of potatoes so had a yorkshire pudding with dinner.
