Thanks for running the thread - I will update my signature as I go along.
Ended up doing a smaller than usual store cupboard shop last week in order to use up a £7 off £50 voucher at MrT, so well stocked and shouldn't really need anything until end of this week.
Just need to meal plan properly to use it ...
good luck all for AprilDebt free and saving :j0 -

If you use Euro's (or anything else for that matter!), it's absolutely fine to keep your spends in this ..... don't worry about conversions for us - this is your challenge!:)

OK. I went AWOL in Feb & March, but as I have been told I'm facing redundancy at the end of May, I'm back.
Setting my budget for £100, which I'll keep track of in my signature.
As the sun is splitting the sky just now there will be more salads, which my waistline will be happy about!
Good Luck everyone

Grocery Challenge
Feb 2016 - £46.73 / £100.000 -
I'm in for April for £380 (will keep a note in my sig). I have already spent an embarrasingly large amount of my budget:o. I made a schoolgirl error last week shopping in Mr S instead of the usual Ald1 to make use of vouchers I had.
I am still planning to eat up the contents of my freezer and cupboards but my biopsy has been brought forward so might not get as much eaten up before that as I was planning.
One of my mini targets this month is to make packed lunch for DH and I 12/15 of the days we are at work and have achieved 2/3 so far:)Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750 -
Sorry to hear your news Cherry Pie. Hope you're able to find more work soon. And all those others who are looking for work too.
My month doesn't start until April 1st but as I've nothing left in Marchs budget our food combinations for the remainder of the week - using up whatever is in the cupboard - will be a little unorthadox to say the least0 -
Right! Finally going to give this a go
Think I'm starting with a tight budget, but we're going for £150 for the month. That's 2 adults0 -
