Hi - happy to not be on the list since I update my own signatture. My budget until April 23rd is £150 - higher than previous months due to guests for a couple of weeks. I ahve meal planned and need to buy little but guests equals treats / days out so the spending is less in control than before.

    Good luck everyone!

I'm in again this month, and am cutting down for my food shop only to £50, but happy to have that in my siggy only. Doing well so far as have avoided the "Big Pay Day Shop" and only spent £1.58 on 14 bread mixes so far. Am trying to last until next Friday before shopping again. So will be living out of the store cupboard and freezer this week as I have plenty in (and can always make bread if I run out :rotfl:).

Feels strange not shopping though :o

Thanks to everyone who offer their tips and encouragement throughout the month. Last month was the first time I found time to read the thread every day, and found it invaluable.

Also thanks to those who keep the thread going month after month - stirling work. Thank you!

    xx

Hi there not quite payday yet but looks like we'll come in just under budget. If we do may spend extra on toilet rolls if they are still on offer at Co-op. I'm going to go for £500 for April as it's a slightly longer month and we may have guests over Easter weekend. Thanks.:)

April doesn't officially start until tomorrow for me (OH's payday) but I already have spends of £25.10 in Home Bargains, £2.50 in Farm Foods and £23.70 in Mr S's which included 2 lots of hay fever tablets plus some dextrose tablets. I also have a guest (my mother) coming to visit over Easter & also with the kids being off for 2 weeks I know that it's not going to be a cheap month!

Sorry, forgot to say the usual thanks to Zippy, Rosie & Helen etc!

    Hi everyone,
Please may I join you fantastic guys. After months of lurking, and learning from you fantastic guys, I've plucked up enough courage to join in and have ago myself.
Please can you put me down for £250. This is for me and OH and includes all food and drink for both of us, toiletries and laundry.

    Many thanks.
    Sx

Will go away and try to work out how to put things in red.
  • Been reading this part of the forum for years but only recently signed up and would love to take part. There's just me and dh and I'd like to aim for £200 for April please. Hoping this is do-able, we have pets which take up around £25-£30 of our budget but I think £170ish should be ok for 2 adults.

Look forward to seeing how we all get on :D
