It's VCS' failed appeal against the decision that WAS made a year ago. But why are we talking to a troll, he doesn't listen to a word you say, he's only here to disrupt.

I kinda feel sorry for him. His whole life involves him trying to interact with people (in the form of sending laughable threatening letters) and being ignored that it would be cruel to do it here too........

Posters. There is a Parking Company boss here posing as a genuine forum member. He is doing what all Parking Companies do, and that is to try and scare you into giving him money.

A handful of people do get taken to court; one was indeed ordered to pay a couple of thousand pounds, but never did because he was a friend of the parking company owner pretending to be a motorist.

Against this an estimated 500,000 people do not pay the charges and are not prosecuted.

Good odds, I would say.

And if the legal decision referred to above is upheld, most parking companies won't be able to take anyone to court. It is only a tiny minority who are foolish enough to do so at present anyway.

Most, like Mr LAC, just rely on bluff and bluster.

Please don't pay any heed to the propaganda of a Parking Company Troll. He wants your money; we do not.

I said on another thread that we should keep these troll posts up, as they usually do more harm then good for the PPC but LAC is becoming a tit now. I for one will be ignoring him/her.

A word to wise. To suggest that the defendant in a court case was in fact working in co-opearation with the claimant is slanderous.

For example, he does not even know the distinction between slander and libel in law.

The threats were not long in coming, as always. Once a thug, always a thug.

Just hit "Spam" and report the troll's posts. MSE does take a while to expunge vermin but it happens in the end.
