The only problem is if your broadband router isn't close enough to your Sky box to use an ethernet cable you need to connect wirelessly. That's fine I use wireless broadband at home anyway.

Oh, I you need a Sky wireless connecter. Luckily the Sky shop sells these.

    £60?!

No such thing as a freebie... :(
Very glad my router is next to my sky box in the lounge. Expecially since my apple tv arrives this weekend along with a NAS drive. We're going to be multi-media to the max!

I wouldn't be surprised to see future sky boxes with built in wifi

Not all areas can get the Sky Unlimited service, if you can only get Sky Connect its about £17 a month - it depends on the service availability from the exchange box.

I cant get Sky Broadband in my area & the are no plans to upgrade the exchange,Oh I can get Sky Connect but I'd rather go without than have that !!!! service...

Just got this working, I've been looking for a reason to cancel Sky, I am not any more!

Never wanted Sky broadband, now that I can use this with my Orange Livebox I'm really impressed!

Had an initial issue, so for anyone who has the same (you'll know, as you won't have "Downloads" as a tab under planner), this was solved by forcing the HD box to upgrade its firmware - switch off and unplug from the mains, hold down backup on the top of the box and reconnect to the mains (keep holding backup) - after about a minute all the LEDs on the box illuminate and the TV shows a message in big white on black letters, after about 5-10 mins the box resets and you're upgraded.

I have Virgin, but the router is in another room, but I have a cable going to the Virgin box which hapens to be next to the Sky box.

Could I take the lead out of the TV, connect it to the old virgin router and then to the Sky box?

    You don't. Anytime+ is just an add-on.
