Well Done CyclingYorkie  Bloody Brilliant :T

Well, I've done a silly thing... but in the spirit of "you live and learn" I have actually turned this silly thing into a possitive. I'd like to share ...

I'm a binge eater. I have Dissordered Eating. I've been controlling it very well since starting eating the SW way on May 5th last year. Just recently I've really got alot thinner and am now in a size 12 and feeling really quite pleased with how I'm looking. I've got a little bit obsessed with losing more, and where once a slow and gentle weight loss was good enough, I suddenly started having thoughts of how quick and how much more I could lose.

I was a bit of a piggy at Easter and ate more than I have for a while, and more than I felt comfy with. Instead of writing it off as a Flexi Day like I should have, and acknowledging that most people did this, I restricted my eating for the next few days. I got hungry. Then I binged. Then I restricted myself again eating just fruit, then I binged. Silly silly frog. :o

There was no need to do that because everyone overeats sometimes, and I'm in this for life, not just until I get into a size 10, or the scales say 10 st.

So, this morning, I've had a HUGE free breakfast of grilled mushrooms on leaves with a whole tin of baked beans and a sprinkle of Catherdral City cheese on top :T (HEA) because eating like this helped me lose 7st 1lb so what the hell is the point of starving and depriving myself?!

Later today I'm meeting up with some old pals from where I used to work who I haven't seen since I lost the weight. I'm really looking forward to seeing them and seeing how proud they are of me. They've known me chubby and thinner and know all about my demons so I know I'll be totally at home with them all.

With SW there is no need for all this silly chaotic eating.

    I'm free :D

Finally made it out for a run last night - did about 4 k so not bad but felt shocking - running really slowly - heavy legs :(. Came back and my eye and half my face swelled up - think I must be allergic to exercise!

Think another green day today - out of ff yog so my breakkie used up 2 HE already - aplen and milk.

Lunch is rice and crunchy veg salad with a spice dressing
Dinner will be crustless quiche - need to pop out for quark or ff cottage cheese for that - will put leeks and gammon in (HEB2) and have with salad and new pots.

Have fruit to snack on but forgot to put my mini crunchie in my bag :( Will save it for tongiht I guess.

Little monkey is still a bit ropey, but dont think she needs to go back to A&E just yet. Will keep a close eye on her, we're watching Roald Dahl's revolting rhymes, forgot how funny they are:rotfl:

Congrats to all the losers :beer:

not been on for a few days as i have been away during the easter break. Most of which i spent drunk :o

I did my best to stick to the plan and in hindsight i did fairly well. I had my HEX A & B and stuck to not having extra bread or cheese etc Ate plenty of veggies and fruit. Avoided all chocolate/sweets & crisps (..thats pretty good going for me actually) although i did eat a couple of hot cross buns :o

Downfall was the alcohol, drank vodka with d.coke mostly but a few glasses of rose passed my lips too. Had a couple of chicken Kebabs (basically chicken which was griddled and a pitta bread) .. Didnt have any sauce on nor any chips.

No idea if i have put on or lost ..am praying i have stayed the same but will see. I am on best behaviour this week :D

    Yesterday menu -

B - SW Quiche (nothing in the house), an apple and some grapes.
L - Jacket Potato with side salad, topped with HEXA 45g of Low fat Cheese and spaghetti hoops
D - Paprika Sweet potato chips (:heart2::heart2:) and an omelette with chicken peices, handful of frozen veg and mushrooms. Salad on side
Snacks - blackeberries, strawberries, raspeberries with 2 meringues (6 syns), coconut muller light, custard pot (5.5 syns)

    Todays menu -

Snacks - Berries, an apple, toffee muller light, [STRIKE]snack pot jelly (0.5 syn),[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]pot of shape chocolate dessert (5.5 syns)[/STRIKE] 2 diet crispbakes with a dollop of choccy philli - 7 syns

Hmmm. I couldn't get on here at all last night although my computer was happily going to every other site I tried; I assumed the forum was down but clearly not!

Anyway, second day after Easter 'offdays'. I had only put on a pound; had a good day yesterday and planning another good one today. need to get my bum shifting before I have to start taking the steroids again towards the end of next week...

    Morning everyone,

Minnie-the-minx... glad you liked the "sweet & sour", I really enjoyed it too and sooo easy.

Frogga... well done for coming through the other side. You're right, we all overeat sometimes but we need to learn to put it behind us as a blip and move on rather than try to strave ourselves to make up for it and startthe vicious cycle again. Easier said than done I know.

Had a pretty good day yesterday. I have decided to stop trying to be a saint by having very few syns - the damn things are there to be eaten and if it means that I lose weight at a slower rate then so be it. I need to be happy in my head with 1lb a week - by Christmas that would take another 37lb off me which would be a 5st weight loss since starting in Jan which to be honest was beyond my wildest dreams in January but I now think is really do-able.

i had a sneaky nosey at my scales this morning - it says im 12st 12.5lb... well actually it says im 12st 13.5 lbs, but my scales will generally weigh between .75-1.0lb heavier than the WI ones.

it'll be an interesting WI though, because my friend ate all her easter eggs plus various other things i mentioned, and ive eaten half my easter chick total, so we'll see what the craic is.

im hoping for a loss, but in reality, i reckon it will be a STS week, which i guess i should be happy with (but i know i wont be lol)

i think i might try making the SW quiche before i go to work - maybe can take some with me, or have some with broccoli for a late lunch/dinner.

girlies quick q: do any of you ever eat after 6? a friend from work who used to do the plan before she got pregnant, said she swore that eating after 6 made her loss less effective? but i dont know if she was talking kack or if there is any truth behind it :)
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:

  • Lost a pound this week although don't really know how as I wasn't particuarly good over easter. Yesterday I mostly stuck to the plan but had a little too much chocolate in the evening.

Today is a new day though, and onwards and upwards :) I need to lose 3 pounds to get my half stone award, and this third time has taken me longer than the other 2 times I signed up. I ideally want to have lost at least a stone by May 29th when I go away, so need to up my game!
