  • Little monkey is sleeping now gettingthere, will go check on her in a bit to see how she is. Hope I don't need to take her back tomorrow, she is a bit of a nightmare with her chest. She is ridiculously prone to getting pneumonia(9 times in 2 years) and looked like she was heading that way so took her to hospital, hope I've caught it early enough for oral antibiotics to work.

Poor little baby, hope she is better soon.
I know what you mean though, my little grandson age 4 is a regular at the walk in centre, he has trouble with ear infections, they come on instantly, he has had 3 sets of gromits in, the first set at age 2, they dont usually do them so early but he is a chronic case. Hospitals seem to be a regular outing for him. x

Total loss = 5 stone 12.5 lbs. / But now GAINED 1 STONE 1.5 LBS!!

i hope your wee ones all get well soon ladies.. i know when my friends wee girl is sick she would do anything to make her better - she has severe allergies to lactose and dairy (skin test later in the month to see if any other allergies are present)

i really really reaaaaaaaally hope that ive lost something this week, though i doubt i have, and tbh i havent really ate any rubbish or chocolate this week.

Technically i probably havent eaten my intake of calories i should have had for today, but ive had no appetite for food at all. whether its because i felt a little dodgy this morning or because of * week, or both i dont know, but im wondering how it will affect WI :undecided
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:

    Well done Cyclingyorkie!!

There are alot of snot based problems about at the mo, my youngest's been up half the night. 3rd night on the trot. I'd take her to doctors, but he's no help really so we just fight it out. I think she's inherited her Dad's pollen allergies..very bad as he's from the States, so EVERYTHING sets him off.
I hope all the little ones done with the various lurgies are better soon, lots of cuddles on the sofa, and suggles in bed.

Needless to say, I am fighting tiredness - which before slimming world would have been met with huge doses of sugar. :o I don't think fruit is going to beat this.:(
Discovered Scanbran a couple of nights back. It so reminds me of compressed all bran :rotfl:but excellent for a night snack.
Might try to make the carrot cake with scanbran...we shall see as taking the eldest to an indoor play this afternoon with a friend.

  • Congrats to cyclingyorkie!

The scales are just not budging for me this week so not holding out too much hope for good news at WI tomorrow.

Just wanted to thank the lady who mentioned the sweet and sour sauce - had to try it last night out of curiosity. DD and I both really enjoyed it but she burst out laughing when I told her my 'secret recipe' was a carton of passata and a can of diet orangeade! Genius...

Now I can't stop wondering what the clever people on this thread can do with other diet drinks. I'm sure there is a gammon with Lilt sauce recipe just waiting to happen! Or pork with diet Appletise? Or maybe steak with diet (Dr) Pepper sauce? :rotfl::rotfl:
