  • Thanks for that, was not sure how much was too much? Been looking it up and apparently it's great health wise for various conditions.
Lots of antioxidants, vitamins etc and good for clearing u out ;) Also some sites says it's good for weight loss as a whole!
I really hope I get at least 1 pound off this week to keep me motivated. I know through experience that u can eat too much fruit, one weekend I had 10 apples and 2 crates of satsumas in one day and I put 1/2 pound on, so I was hoping that by eating 2 pineapples I had not done the same sort of damage. If anyone has any stories of weight loss by eating pineapples then I would be interested to hear about them. x

I know that loads eat loads of fruit and lose well especially at the beginning of their weight loss, but i know our consultant says that eat fruit freely if your hungry or if it stop you raiding the snack cupboard but i think personally that little n often is ok but it does all have calories in at the end of the day and if your not happy with your losses or feel it may be slowing you down it could be something to keep an eye on ... but today im sure youve had far less calories in what youve had than my easter egg lol xx

Im sure others will post their comments soon x Happy Easter x

Ooft, I've just made SW friendly sweet & sour chicken and it's divine!!

Chicken breast chopped into chunks and fried in frylight to seal it. I added a chopped onion & chopped red pepper then 1 carton of passata & 1 can of diet fizzy orange. Simmer for 1 hour until it's reduced right down.

yum yum yum - Uncle Ben eat your heart out! I'm gonna add some fresh pineapple to my plate as well, I didn't want to add it when it was cooking as I didn't know how sweet the sauce was going to turn out.

I'll fill out a food diary later....

I'm a bit gutted - weighed myself this morning and seem to have put on 4lb in 2 days. I've had 2 glasses of wine and 2 g&ts since thurs but nothing else different and no other syns :(

I shall try to only stick to weighing myself on mondays as its depressing!

Only had 2 roasties with lunch and no choc so far today!!

Well, yesterday was a bit of a write off - did lots of exercise but also had a creme egg, a white bread cheese toastie (made for me by the riding stables so rude not to eat), a can of coke and a bag of crisps in addition to good SW food:eek: I think we can safely call it a flexi day:o
Feel bloated today and sluggish so you'd think that would stop me wouldn't you? Well no. I haven't been totally awful but I did have no breakfast, a plain bagel (200 cals) and Laughing Cows and a satsuma for lunch, plain pasta with passata and too much cheese (not measured but it looked too much) for tea. It ended up too greasy and I only ate about half:(

Tonight I'll have some strawberries to try to up the fruit a bit and probably a bit of dark mint choccy - I will be back on the wagon tomorrow...............kick my expanding bum if I'm not!

Didn't go too much over on the syns today, I usually allow myself 30 on a Saturday but only had 17.5. Not too bad a day, weekends are definitely my downfall. Going to my mums for dinner tomorrow, pretty sure it won't be SW friendly!! Will not go crazy.

How many syns do you allow for friday/sunday (in particular) and the rest of the week?

I can't make this, but hubby makes it for me and I agree it's very yummy. Though he cheated last time and used tinned pineapple.

I weighed myself tuesday on the wiifit as part of the exercise thing, 1 day before weigh in - I was 5lb lighter. At WI I had only lost 0.5lb. The downer from that has been with me all week. Wiifit reckons I am 1lb heavier this week so goodness knows what the result will be come WI this week.

Haven't had any chocolate given this easter... Hubby bought me the Zumba game for the wii instead :D Not sure I'll be shaking my butt quite like they do on the screen though!
Dinner last night was roast beef. Roasted red peppers and SW roasties, parsnips, carrots, mash, cabbage and brocholi. Syns in the gravy as I used the stock of the beef - fat and all for it.

Egg fried rice with gammon and a side of salad for lunch, and Beef hash to use up the beef tonight.
Off to deal with the ironing :(

Yesterday was a write off and today may be the same! Not eaten anything yet but taking my daughter to the bakehouse down the road and I may have to indulge. I haven't been for ages, we used to go at least once a week!!
