Didn't go too much over on the syns today, I usually allow myself 30 on a Saturday but only had 17.5. Not too bad a day, weekends are definitely my downfall. Going to my mums for dinner tomorrow, pretty sure it won't be SW friendly!! Will not go crazy.

Consultant says that you can have 105 syns a week, the area managers likes her wine so had 2 bottles a week and deducts this from her total, so takes 60 off for wine and has 45 left for rest of week.

    Does this really work?

Due to medical reasons I not longer drink, always used my syns on booze before. Chocolate seems to give me nightmares, so have given up on that.

Weight loss has been slow and wonder if its lack of syns?

Going out for lunch next week, looked at menu, not at all SW friendly so could I just syn it,mans take it off the total?

Good morning and happy Easter, hope you're all having a lovely weekend!

Well not only was I greedy piggy on Thursday night I did it again last night and from the looks of it gained approx 1lb maybe 2lb......so my 2lb weight loss on Thurs seems insignificant now....AND I've only got myself to blame, I suggested takeaway last night :o then I had a Wispa :o

I'm going out for a meal tomorrow, it's ONLY A FLIPPIN ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET!

I wanted to get at least another 2lbs off next week I don't think it's possible now, any suggestions? :(

I'm making SW KFC chicken again today because it was a huge success last week.....with SW Chips I think this is all I should eat today since I've been sooo naughty! I might have some fruit with a muller in a little bit though.

    Happy Easter everyone!

I had a McDonald's yesterday for lunch as we went shopping in town and there's not a whole lot of choices. That or Burger King really. Or the all you can eat Chinese. Can't really win there. :)
But even though it was 60.5 syns (Seriously? That's just criminal for the amount of food) I had had a pretty low syn week so I was still 90 for the week.
We're not doing anything really today so I'll just have one of my Caramel eggs and call it a day. Family is coming tomorrow so we'll see how that goes. I have plenty of spag bol sauce I made in the slow cooker if I need to I can just have that. Hopefully, they'll understand (my husband already is tired of hearing about syns so I'll just ignore him hehehe).

    HI everyone.

Had a good week and stuck to the plan 100%. Haven't eaten all my syns but have had maybe 3 or 4 a day. I would really like a drink today but weigh in tomorrow morning so I will probably abstain as next week is going to be a tricky one as it's my Dad's 60th and we are going out for a family meal on Wed night and then he is having a party on Sunday.

I made Nigella's gammon in coke last night - I often make this as we all love it but I don't know how to syn it. The whole gammon was boiled in fat coke then glazed in 1 tbl spn of treacle, 1 tsp brown sugar & 1 tsp mustard powder. I had 2 slices of gammon from the middle of the roast (so only a tiny sliver of glaze on each), served with mashed potatoes, SW roasties (OMG how lush are they???), carrots & peas. I knew it was short on superfree so I had a banana, a satsuma and a plum for pudding.

Anyway, the kids and OH are happily scoffing easter eggs and I am sitting on my hands to keep me off them because as we've discussed before I need to keep off it completely. Nevermind - hopefully my willpower will pay off and I will have a nice loss tomorrow. Happy Easter everyone.x

  • Happy Easter to everyone,
Well, I have been dead good again. Nothing eaten that should not have :D
My overindulgence has been 2 punnets of strawberries and 2 whole pineapples all to myself ;) I really hope to carry on and get my target before Florida, 9 pounds to go!
Had strawberries and banana, 2 weetabix for breakfast, turkey breast spuds and asparagus for lunch, and prawns, that's so far.
Am I right that pineapples are ok without weighing or measuring just eating? I do hope so :) I was hoping to eat a full pineapple monday and tuesday also, give me a clue guys!
    Happy eating :)

Fresh pineapple is syn free gettingthere54 so long as it's not cooked or pureed. I've got one sitting in the fruit bowl and now I'm off to devour it because you've put me in the mood for it! Enjoy

Thanks for that, was not sure how much was too much? Been looking it up and apparently it's great health wise for various conditions.
Lots of antioxidants, vitamins etc and good for clearing u out ;) Also some sites says it's good for weight loss as a whole!
I really hope I get at least 1 pound off this week to keep me motivated. I know through experience that u can eat too much fruit, one weekend I had 10 apples and 2 crates of satsumas in one day and I put 1/2 pound on, so I was hoping that by eating 2 pineapples I had not done the same sort of damage. If anyone has any stories of weight loss by eating pineapples then I would be interested to hear about them. x
