Shellie you really are an inspiration to us all congrats on your weight loss so far. And a massive well done to all other losses this week.

Am later in the day posting than normal as Hubby and i decided to trudge round a local garden centre that is closing down and grab a few pieces to give the winter garden some colouring now all the summer stuff has been pruned back etc.

I started the day with an apple and a banana as not really hungry and drove to first GC. Picked what we wanted and called into the nearest town to gather some items from Wilkos. As soon as we got out of the car hubbies nose was on Pizza hut hunt *now polishes halo* whilst hubby sat and scoffed 14, yes you read right 14 slices of pizza i devoured 2 bowls of salad and a bowl of apple and grapes. He had the cheek to say he thought i would have buckled under the smell and give into temptation despite me saying it doesnt bother me anymore. He soon wished he hadnt gone when the dopey waitress typed in wrong amount into card machine and tried to charge him £170 for a £17 meal :rotfl: luckily she cancelled the transaction in time but he soon legged it to the nearest atm to check his account.

Now biding the time before WI and hubby is cooking tea while im out with son - Sainsburys cumberland sausage, mash and veg. By the time i get in it will be all that i want so looks like a syn free day today unless i have a few splashes of gravy.

Good luck to anyone else WI tonight.

I had a tooth removed today and it didn't really go to plan, i'm now very bruised and sore :(

I had a mullerlight milkshake and a bit of scrambled egg but I am struggling with ideas of things that are soft to eat and are still slimming world friendly. Any ideas would be great thank you.

Some of the weight losses on here at the moment are fantastic :T and woman of the year :j. So inspiring.

thanks guys, anyone know what to expect?
  • kjmtidea - try weetabix, filling and thats your healthy extra. soak it in milk or warm water and add yoghurt & banana.
Blend some stewed carrots, swede and add chicken stock - soup. Dip bread or crackers - mind for syns or use healthy extra on the bread.
Couscous - add tom puree or pastata and basil, serve with "value" tinned tuna.
Smash add kerry low low = cheese potato.
    some ideas for you ;)

:jpiglet74 :j- well done! We haven't had a "WoY" this year so can't help much. I think it's just a case of re-doing the speech you gave at your group though.

I just googled and this came up: http://skinnydreaming.blogspot.co.uk/2010/09/slimming-worlds-woman-of-year-2010.html
It is from 2 years ago but gives quite a detailed description, you might be able to find a more recent one through google though. Good luck!

I didn't think of weetabix with banana, i'll give that a try thanks. I was worried about rice and cous cous getting in the hole

Back from WI and a further 1.5lb loss for me and 3.5lb for my son giving him his 1stone award, he temporarily was given the club 10 but the lady who sits on the WI got the maths wrong so he has another 8lb to go for that.
