  • ok some inspiration needed here please- just making my shopping list with no real idea of plan yet because I haven't had time to write one but I'm going to buy the right foods and take it from there - so I have on my list the following - let me know if you think I'm missing anything -

fruit (bananas, melon, watermelon, mango, peaches) veg (tomatoes, cucumbers, spring onions, lettuce, onions, courgettes, sweet potatoes, peppers, cabbage), eggs, tuna, 1/2% white cheese (fromage frais),
wm bread, smoked salmon, canneloni, rice, noodles,
chicken breast strips, chicken breast, chicken thighs,
pickled cucumbers, frozen mixed berries, 0% plain yoghurt,
grated mozzarella, frozen cauliflower, frozen broccoli, frozen peas,
frozen chopped onions, passata, tinned tomatoes, tomato puree,
vanilla essence, veggie mince, stock cubes

    anything missing?

  • Stef really hope your son has a loss this week. It's hard enough for us adults, it must be so much harder for children, especially when their friends are all eating all the junk they can.

It wouldnt be so bad if he were socialising with his mates instead of being in his room on his ps3 so this cant even be blamed on peer pressure or temptation that way. His school mates dont live on the door step so the only time he sees them is within school. Roll on saturday when he is at work!

He has a bike and a stunt scooter, when his brother was here they would be off out down to the skate park together most days, sitting couped up in his room is part of him coping with the situation thats now infront of him. Saying that though he has just said he is off out on his scooter for a bit before tea - looks like he is trying to get that last bit of BM before WI.

    Hi everyone.

Stef & MedMum - chin up dollies. We're all here for you. x
Tash - I'm not sure which edition of the mag it's in but usually there's a big logo on the front if it's in.

I actually like staying to group - there's only about 15 of us actually stay (60+ weigh in in total) but we all get on pretty well and all seem to be trying hard on the weight loss front. There's 2 lasses that come and get weighed and they only ever stay to the meeting if they've lost ... they're usually the ones that are still hungover when they come on the Monday morning!
