Been naughty today and skipped breakfast. Was supposed to be in a 9am meeting that was cancelled 15 mins before  then everything seemed to be on a downward spiral from there. Didnt get my mojo back till around 1pm. As soon as i got in threw some pasta on to boil, dry fried some peppers, mushrooms and onions and made up a campbells condensed soup, threw everything then in a pan once it had all cooked also adding in a tin of tuna - soup syned at 4 syns per portion. Finished off with a banana.
Whilst preparing tea had a prepacked fruit salad of kiwi, grapes and pineapple.
Tea was a quorn bolognese with extra celery, onions and tomatoes served with a garlic and herb spaghetti. Now getting ready for a large bowl of strawbs and raspbs with aerosol cream - morrisons eat smart one.
Will try and add a HEB later. HEA was used with milk in my coffees.

I made a big roasted pepper, bacon and red onion SW quiche today and we had some for our meal tonight.

I also made a massive pot of vegetable soup which is now all neatly labelled and in my freezer for days when we need a quick SW lunch.

I am feeling very housewifely.:rotfl: WI for me tomorrow night.
  • Sorry guys iv become a lurker again summer hols n work have taken over, some amazing losses as usual and fab advice, I'm still plodding along, and lising thankfully.

Flateric- I was so in your boat for first 4 months of the year just getting nowhere and getting more and more frustrated with myself and slimming world, but I stuck with it and thankfully turned a corner and love it again but its right what your saying you need to relax with it and start enjoying new recipes, treats as if your starting from day 1 to get that focus back, good luck lovely x

Supersavershal: Use veggies in soup – get a broth pack by whitworths to add to anything and it fills the liquid with lentils and split peas. Filling grub! (don't over do it like my hubby did.) A lot of people use tinned chopped tomatoes as a base for a dyno-rod soup, or tom soup, just blend it afterwards if you like it pure. Though blending veggies etc negates their “Superfree” status so don't be fooled – you get hungry sooner when you mash, mush, pulp or squash ;)

I tend not to liquidise my soups but have them with veggies roughly diced/chopped up. It's a bit like that 'Big Soup' Heinz do (or did).

You may find that the Green plan suits you better and then any small amounts of meat you have can be counted as syns instead. The information will be in your book but I'd ask the consultant to tell you about it too. They tend only to explain the Extra Easy plan mostly.

the ones i know of come in the multipack variety bags, but since they are the only ones my brother hates (im not too fussed on caramel/crunchies etc) then it means i have looooooads :) in reality, it is 1/2 a normal curlywurly. having said that, i break them up into shards anyway lol

Soup for the morning is made, flask is heating overnight :D fruit salad is in the fridge ready to be dished out into my wee container for brekkie tomorrow, and i just have to take grapes to work with me and im sorted.

today i ended up having my fruit salad for breakfast, a tuna salad and muller light yoghurt and 2 nectarines for lunch, and then a wholemeal chicken sandwich for dinner. because there was only lettuce in the sandwich i had melon and grapes for afters. As my treats I had 2 cups of tea with milk, 2 light mini babybels, and a kimberley biscuit thingy. hopefully im on the right track
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:
