EE I tried when I rejoined last yr but after sticking to it 100% i gained 2lb at first WI so decided to scrap the idea but I loved the ease of it, so I thinking M2M is the next best thing? especially as you can have 2 a & b HE's!!
I'm an old school red/green girl and I used to do Mix to Match. I think it was my favourite plan. Typically a neutral breakfast, green lunch (jacket spud, beans), red tea (steak) :j Think I will plan some M2M days. I like the structure of having two HEA and two HEB options :jshellieholly wrote: »Flat Eric have a look for some menu inspiration, look through your fridge/freezer and Change your food focus to money saving focus... see if that helps.
I've started looking through the 50 green recipe books and noted in a notebook some recipes I like the look of with ingredients. I'll do this with all my SW books so I'll end up with lots of idea and recipes I want to try :jMediterranean_Mum wrote: »I completely understand you FE as I've been struggling for so many months just to get myself back on plan. All I can really say is that if nothing else just coming on here every day keeps it all in your mind somewhere and if you were really to sit down and think about you are probably following a lot more of the plan than you think or than you would be if you never came in.
You just need to keep plodding away and eventually something will click and you'll get back on it.
We're all here for you so starting posting your menus and writing down your thoughts and you'll get all the support you need.
good luck
Thank youMeans a lot.
Today started well but lunch (from a newly opened cake shop?!) (Salad might I add) did include some hidden syns (mayo on the potato salad, sweet chilli sauce on the chicken breast, more chilli sauce on the noodles, sultanas in the cous cous means it wasn't such as innocent as it seemed. Plus the ratio of superfree was minimal (not enough lettuce/cucumber) but it has given me ideas for my own salad pots if I can just get organised.
Then there was the muffin from the other cake shop....
and with family round for dinner tonight - the I won't touch the garlic bread and doritos (with homemade chilli) sadly didn't come to fruition. and Now I'm stuffing my face with banana cake and rose wine (feeling fed up as little bro on his travels soon and won't see him till xmas).
Despite that I am feeling more positive. Today hasn't been great but its not repeating this day in day out thats the issue for me. Ill go to class tomorrow and listen to how everyone is doing and nearly everyone will be sticking to their 10 syns a day if that. I'm probably having my weekly syns daily! I need to stop obsessing about SW and relax with it. Despite my best intentions, I can't seem to recapture the motivation and mojo when I first joined SW ??? but I'll get there even if I'm not 110% all of the time...
Ill try and keep you posted re my menus.0 -

right.. i have 2 weeks (well til the 6th of september, so 2 1/2 really) to get to 12st 3 1/2 lb... i WILL make it. getting fed up of this yo-yo malarky. gotta go to the docs on friday for a repeat script, but the hallions wont give me it without checking my weight/blood pressure/ iron levels etc, so gonna go to the park after i get that sorted with my skipping rope and my ipod and get my back side into gear.
Ive had a bad few weeks so no more weight on from today. dunno how im gonna work that out but i will. im determined. ive been moping about feeling a little sorry for myself and getting stuck in a moody rut...i kept thinking it was because my friend can manage to eat over 3 takeaways a week (and i mean the batter coated deep fried gloriously delicious ones) and manage to lose weight, and she rarely sticks to plan, and doesnt exercise. shes never gained or mantained, and ive stuck to plan (a few wobbles but on the whole stuck relatively well) and have gained or lost then gained for the last 4 odd weeks, but in reality i had noone to blame but me, and was trying to find excuses. so no more mopey minnie! Now is a time for kicking my bum into gear! i have a wedding evening do to go to which is filled with all my old work colleagues and i want to hit my 2.5st (and also my target ... before i move it) and i can stand and have a 'tadahhhh' moment.
sorry for the rant guys, just needed to get that out of my system and noone but you guys nd gals understand what i mean without judgement, cuz i know anything i have in my head has already been felt or done somewhere by someone already.I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know
On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!0 -
YOU CAN DO IT fluff!!!!
As it's only 2.5 weeks to go, why don't you try Success Express at least some of the time or really up the superfrees and superspeedies? Eat melon and strawberries until your sick of them! Write down every morsel that passes your lips. Make a meal plan for every day of the next 2.5 weeks. keep posting!

tomorrow amongst other things (fruit and a salad of some sort) is a half a melon that will be coming to work with me. its lucky enough that melon and strawbs are my faaaaaaaavourite fruit!
hmmm think i shall be hitting mr T on the way home from work and going fruit mad,
Breakfast will be eaten between patients at work which will be a fruit salad with kiwi, orange, green apple, melon and um nectarines.. whatever melon is left over will be used as snacky stuff throughout the day.
(when the blackberries bloom ill add them in too)
Lunch if i can be awake enough to make it will be a tuna salad (dressing free... with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, sweetcorn, peppers etc... and failing that ill get the deli to make it) does that sound along the right track?I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know
