Morning all - first weigh in last night and I lost 3.5lb which I was delighted with but my sister lost 6lb so I was even happier for her! She was so happy she was nearly giddy!! I'm really happy that she's motivated - even cooking for herself which is a first!!
I have to pay for our holiday today which means it's 10 weeks off - I really, really want a stone and a half off by then...*game face*0 -
Morning all,
Great to see so many newcomers  welcome all
CH - Well done on WoY, you must be made up! :j
GFB - re. eating/drinking on WI day - I eat and drink normally up about 4 (WI is 6-6.30) but don't eat at all and don't drink much after that. I wouldn't worry too much about drinking on the day - as long as it isn't too close to WI it will come out again prior to it!
We had our WoY last night - was quite nerve racking as we had to do a little speech about our SW journey and I'm not really into public speakingWas v pleased that the lady I voted for won though! She was so surprised, bless her
Oh and I lost 0.5lb - not the biggest loss ever but enough to take me into the next number
:) Haven't done any walking this week so planning at least one walk into work and maybe some over the bank hol weekend to ensure a good loss next week!
Green today:
B: Bran flakes (B), milk (A), banana
L: Sweet & sour mugshot, nectarine
T: Undecided, poss Quorn stir fry & rice
S: Strawberries, Shape yog, Freddo (5), mini milk (1.5), Options (2)
ETA: Forgot the extra HEs for a green day! Think I'll change tea to JP & cheese (A) with some SW quiche with bacon or ham (B) and salad
Also, well done to both you and your sister GFB, great start!2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]
2012: [STRIKE]Start renovating new house (aka open enormous can of worms)[/STRIKE] _pale_

Lunch if i can be awake enough to make it will be a tuna salad (dressing free... with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, sweetcorn, peppers etc... and failing that ill get the deli to make it) does that sound along the right track?
That's a good plan fluff but don't forget to have syns and HEXs, either with your meals or as treats. Balsamic is quite good as a syn free dressing or if you prefer use your syns on a bit of mayo. What's your favourite way of using syns?Morning all,
Oh and I lost 0.5lb - not the biggest loss ever but enough to take me into the next number:)
That's such a great feeling Blodwen.:)
Glad the losses motivated you and your sister gfb. Go you!!
It's overcast but warm and muggy here. Don't really feel like eating much. Ended up baking yesterday. That's something that rarely happens here but got roped in as a school holiday activity after blackberry picking. Last night caught myself eating a jam tart (from LO pastry). Today I have to eat a portion of the blackberry pie with cream/custard so as not to disappoint the children. I'll substitute it for my lunch and then won't be too synful across two days. Haven't had any others.
Todays' EE plan:
B: ham, fried egg, HEB toast, mushrooms, baked beas, fried potato (all courtesy of DH:A)
L: blackberry pie with cream:osausage casserole (cabbage, leeks, onion, new potatoes, butter beans, mushrooms, carrots)
Syns: pie and 1 for sausages (0.5 syns each from Sainsbury's)0 -
maman - it depends on the time of the year... for around 3 days each month im chocolate head. Failing that, its either used in dinner (eg, 2 sausages with veg etc) or as mr H's extra light mayo or a little jam on my toast
it depends on my mood really. ooooh might try that balsalmic dressing.. on that note, short of making it, does anyone know of store branded dressings that are syn free? i can never see any in mr T when im there :S
Well done Blodwen!:T and well done GFB :TI'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know
On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!0 -
right.. i have 2 weeks (well til the 6th of september, so 2 1/2 really) to get to 12st 3 1/2 lb... i WILL make it. getting fed up of this yo-yo malarky. gotta go to the docs on friday for a repeat script, but the hallions wont give me it without checking my weight/blood pressure/ iron levels etc, so gonna go to the park after i get that sorted with my skipping rope and my ipod and get my back side into gear.
Ive had a bad few weeks so no more weight on from today. dunno how im gonna work that out but i will. im determined. ive been moping about feeling a little sorry for myself and getting stuck in a moody rut...i kept thinking it was because my friend can manage to eat over 3 takeaways a week (and i mean the batter coated deep fried gloriously delicious ones) and manage to lose weight, and she rarely sticks to plan, and doesnt exercise. shes never gained or mantained, and ive stuck to plan (a few wobbles but on the whole stuck relatively well) and have gained or lost then gained for the last 4 odd weeks, but in reality i had noone to blame but me, and was trying to find excuses. so no more mopey minnie! Now is a time for kicking my bum into gear! i have a wedding evening do to go to which is filled with all my old work colleagues and i want to hit my 2.5st (and also my target ... before i move it) and i can stand and have a 'tadahhhh' moment.
sorry for the rant guys, just needed to get that out of my system and noone but you guys nd gals understand what i mean without judgement, cuz i know anything i have in my head has already been felt or done somewhere by someone already.
You sound how I feel, IYKWIM, I've been losing/gaining the same 4 pounds for the last 3 months I think, sooooo fed up with it. I've tried success express for a few days, lost some, gained it back! Think I'll tag along with your plan, see what happens. Haven't really tried the super speeds, suppose I've been a bit sceptical, but will give it a go this week.
Thanks for letting me blow off some steam guys, you're the best!
Oh, can someone explain what M2M is please, I've only done EE, is it worth trying reds, greens as well? I'm a huge fan of carbsLost 38.5 lb with SW so far, 56LB to go!:A

I stayed the same today
I don't seem to be getting anywhere at the moment, I think I have become a little lax with it all. So from today I am giving it 100%, I bought some scan bran, I am going to really up my super frees, get back to walking miles every day and I will have a good weight loss next week!
Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0 -
I signed up for the endomondo sports tracker last night and tracked the walk / jog that I did with the buggy. You also put in your height and weight and it works out how many calories you've burnt. Apparently I burned 506 cals last night doing a 3 mile walk in 52 mins
It certainly will keep me motivated and might be useful for other too. x

Supersavershal: Use veggies in soup – get a broth pack by whitworths to add to anything and it fills the liquid with lentils and split peas. Filling grub! (don't over do it like my hubby did.) A lot of people use tinned chopped tomatoes as a base for a dyno-rod soup, or tom soup, just blend it afterwards if you like it pure. Though blending veggies etc negates their “Superfree” status so don't be fooled – you get hungry sooner when you mash, mush, pulp or squash
fluff1987: go you. Remember -shaking up the food plan helps as much. A change is as good as a break they say (they are very knowledgable!!)
Well done gingerfurball, 3.5lb is great going. There are two sisters at our group (or was as I've been on my jollies for a month) and they would alternate between who lost the most from week to week. It was very competitive between them.
Blodwen Glad you lost, you have always seemed focused and organised, that NEXT NUMBER is the best feeling.. no matter how you get there, the smug glow inside can't be beat! Well Done!
Mymamma – (and fluff too) a couple of ladies have been so very close to target upping and downing in the same 4lb bracket. I suspect theres a lot of money brought in because of the “Almost there won't give up” attitude we all have. Stay focused, kjmtidea – Superfrees need to be at least 1/3 of the plate, Mymamma – they really do make a difference. You can (but they don't like it) have a starter salad instead of on the plate with if you want. Watch for the things like grapefruit, pineapple, broccoli – sweet potatoes ( include them in your mash don't use asdas own it has oils in!)
Fluff – your menu plan looks fine. I drink LOADS of tea too. Try switching out one cup a day with green tea – or a slice of lemon in earl grey. Avoid the milk for a day completely - I've found it drains and over shoots the allowance.
I made some syn free egg custards today (Muller light vanilla x3, nutmeg to taste, vanilla extract, 3x eggs sweetner if wanted. Cook for 20 minutes...) Yummy. Next on the cook list is some slimming world breakfast quiches. Hubby can have them as a snack at work, perfect for such!
Doing a Citrus salad with Pitta bread pizza and slimming world wedges - so I better get on with it!0
