This bl00dy wii is going to have me in the nut house - tonight it says I have LOST 4lb! The damn thing. I think I am going to ignore the body test part and just do the exercise bit instead then I will be in blissful ignorance until a Monday morning at class.
I need my head read but I have allowed my DD to talk me into trying to jog a mile for Sport Relief - 5 mins on the jogging on the wii kills me so I think I may be a stretcher case on a real life actual jog. We measured out our route in the car tonight and I have to say a mile is further than I expected! We're going to do it early on saturday morning when there's no one about to witness my red blubbery sweating being ... and then I'll go out on the lash with my pals and get rubbered on Gin :)

You had me in stitches, you just sound like me :rotfl:
If anyone came in the room when I am jogging on the wii they would cart me off to the nut house :D

Total loss = 5 stone 12.5 lbs. / But now GAINED 1 STONE 1.5 LBS!!

Hi all, not popped by for a while but back now:wave: Thank you blackberry rum for the lovely new thread.

Just got back from WI and I have to say that after a week of misbehaving I got what I deserved which was a 1lb gain (aka a kick up the bum!) A 1lb loss would have brought me to a stone so it's a double whammy, I'm now a pound further away!

On Tuesday I ate a whole large tub of choc philly and then, having got the bug, half a large jar of Nuttella. Then I felt really icky and gave up for the week.

So tonight I am determined to turn this to my advantage with the following thoughts:

    1. There is no longer any choc philly or nutella in the house so no temptation.
    2. I learned that if I eat all that carp I am in danger of barfing, and I really HATE barfing so that's a good reason not to.
    3. I didn't even really enjoy it as I was doing it (the animal in me just took over, know what I mean?) so what a waste of syns. I could have had a whole bottle of wine and enjoyed it a hundred times more.
    4. I really don't want to feel as miserable and disgusted with myself ever again.
    5. I am an intelligent woman with no less willpower than anyone else on this earth and I really don't have to behave like that.

So a syn free, high superfree week is on the cards, and I've got my food diary at the ready to make sure I stick to it.
Oh dear, here we go again.
  • good luck ;)

fruit roulade, that's the SW cake that is tasty (and only half a syn in total!) However, it didn't come out right for me, but other people manage perfectly!
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
  • Hello.. lost you all, you had a spring clean!
Hifi bars are yummy - and terribly morish, Nom nom nom! While I am trying to stay under 10 syns a day, these bars are tempting me over! Two SoW in a row, I feel like I am cheating - everyone else seems to be struggling at my group. :( Lovely group though. Aiming to try make the mash pizza this weekend if I get chance. Hope you all had a lovely mother's day for those that celebrated.

I made that once and it came out more like an omelette with greek yoghurt & strawberries in - it was OK but I wont make it again!

  • Hello. Can I join in too?
I joined the local SW group at the end of Jan after feeling really ashamed about my weight when I met up with some old friends at Christmas. I think I've been in denial for the last 15 years!
I reckon I've got about 3 1/2 stone to lose and I've been doing OK having just lost my first stone. I use the extra easy plan and although it comes off slowly, it does come off, which is much better than I ever expected.
I think my least favorite bit is the group meetings, which I really can't get into. Is the online membership worth considering? Quite honestly, I was thinking of not bothering to re-join when my 12 weeks are up, but I'm not sure whether I'll be able to stick to it, without the motivation of not showing myself up at WI each week.
I now need to get my head around doing some exercise, which I've never, ever done before! Eeek!

I'm stuffed  and I managed syn free today :D and didn't even have the other alpen light bar yet

good, healthy meals are the key I think :)

however I managed to find and rescue 7 big boxes of Thorntons Mint for 1p each from Mr T today and been thinking about them all the time, how lovely the chocs are etc. bought some Mikado sticks too but decided to have them tomorrow if I still fancy them(I'm sure I will tho :p)

also registered on the SW website so I can check the syns and not guess them :o

the chocs I had the other day were from T dessert chocolate collection, so I assume something like roses/qs but I synned them at 3 each just in case :o

anyone able to answer my question about the ff fromage frais and cottage cheese? where do you buy them? does less the 1% fat count as ff? :o

Check the batteries in the board.. the weight will be a bit off if the batteries are out. I only do the test the day after weigh in. That way I don't start getting all excited about how much/little I've lost and comfort eat!
