Wow CY that's definitely a plan! Well done you and you know what even if you do decide to have a few of the chips, you haven't got any other syns in your plan so enjoy them as a one-off.

    Thats the plan MM!

I do enjoy the meal out aspect but I won't be going out afterwards - too much to do over the weekend and I'm not one for drinking to the point of oblivion/hangover.....

I managed it last year and I will manage it this year....

    Morning All :hello:

Another dreich day here today after yesterdays sunshine. I was good again last night, had a rocky caramel out my syn box with SF diluting juice.

Am I correct in saying Rocky Caramel is 5 syns & Ordinary Rocky is 5.5?

    Morning

How does that work out then? You'd think the caramel variety would be higher in syns because its a caramel version !

It's the pub crawl tomorrow  am a bit worried if I'll survive! Have been saving syns, having had since Tues 3, 5, 1.5 and 2.5 today if all goes to plan. Will see you on all on the other side, if I make it! :rotfl:

good luck with that !I would probably have one alcoholic drink, then a diet coke until which point i start getting drunk and then dont care but at least i might have saved myself the extra few vodkas in between. Does that make sense?

Ok, here's my first meal plan for your comments:

B mullerlight, banana, satsuma, apple, tea with milk from HEA
L home-made veggie soup, savoury rice ( no syns) pear sugar free squash
D spaghetti bolognese (will need to syn it as its lean mince, not extra lean, how much is that, we're cooking 500g for 4 of us?) salad, coffee with milk from HEA
S WM bread HEB 20g cheese from HEA, something from my treat box, depending on how many syns I've got left.

    How does that look?
Lost 38.5 lb with SW so far, 56LB to go!:A

    Morning all :hello:

Feeling tired this morning, woke up several times during the night with a blocked nose ( curse you hayfever )
We are back to grey skies and rain again (yesterday was beautiful ) - glum times :(
Its also our cookie friday in the office which means the kitchen is full of goodies galore :(. I have been so good at staying within my syns and sticking to the plan to a tee i am determined not to break this good spell. Still hard seeing it all on the table though.

I am going a green day today and menu is -

B - 2 ww toast (Hex b )with scrambled eggs
L - chicken & mushroom pasta n sauce with veggies thrown in. 1.5 syns
D - Quorn mince with gravy & veggies - 3.5 syns for gravy. Will have with some brown rice.

Snacks - pineapple, frozen berries, no added sugar jelly (0.5 syns) and a low fat muller greek yoghurt (morello cherry 0.5 syns), dried apple rings (2nd hex b ), laughing cow light cheese triangles x 5 over the day (hex a), milk for tea (2nd hex a)

I planned to go to the gym this evening but at this moment in time i honestly cant be bothered and want to crawl in my bed. Will see how i feel later on today !

yep, those values are right - I think it's because the bit where the caramel is would be chocolate rather than biscuit in the normal one, and caramel has fewer calories weight for weight than chocolate (can you tell I know my Rockys?!)

*looks shamefully at own weekend plans* :o

Thanks, I'll need it! Tbh I'm not a big drinker - normally a bit of a lightweight anyway plus have only had alcohol once in the 3 months since I started SW. It will definitely be alternating between alcohol and soft drinks, possibly at a 1:2 ratio or more. It's ok though, OH is going to take one for the team and have at least a half in every single pub... ;)

Have been able to get to WI this week as I badly sprained my ankle last weekend and couldn't drive (Group is nearly 10 miles away, and that's the closest one!); and have already booked a holiday week for next week.

Not too concerned though as I'm at target and have been for over a year now (apart from a couple of months above when I went 0.5lb over the top end).

Have to say though I really still need to go every week because it's so easy to let things slip when you know you aren't going to get weighed for a couple of weeks!

  • Only thing I can say Denise is come in here every day and you'll keep yourself on track.

Hope the ankle gets better before your holiday.

hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j

    congrats to all of you!

Works night out tonight! We are going to a place with a non-Slimming World friendly menu:(:(. I have decided to cycle there - I will therefore not be drinking. I have not ordered a starter - I will fill up on soup (homemade lentil - syn-free) before i go. I have not ordered a pudding. I have preordered steak and am hoping I will have the courage to leave the chips and just eat the salad.

The rest of today is -

B- porridge (B+ A for milk) strawbs, rasps, bluberries, banana and 2 fresh apricots

    L- Chicken + salad

    S - h/m lentil soup

    T - steak, salad chips

What about asking for more salad instead of the chips? Go on you can do it and you'll feel so saintly afterwards. Have a good night. x
