    Believe it or not, I have actually been really good pretty much every week and no one in the class could understand why I wasn't really losing.

    I was thrilled with my -2 today and the only thing I can really put it down to is that I have really made an effort to drink lots - and I mean lots - of water.

    Just wanted to mention this as it may help anyone else who is struggling or doesn't think they are getting the weight loss their effort deserves.

    Well, I for one think you bloody well deserve your -2 loss, :D it shows you have stuck with it, some lesser mortals ( inc me ) would have given up!

    Total loss = 5 stone 12.5 lbs. / But now GAINED 1 STONE 1.5 LBS!!

    Well I went to the pub with some girls from work today - now on the plus side I managed to order a superfood salad ( leaves, raw broccoli, raw green beans, edame beans and pomegranite seeds with a side dressing which I didn't have) served with chargrilled chicken. The menu said it was less than 400 calories!:):)

    So then I slipped up and had 2 small(ish) glasses of rose!:mad:

    You see the thing is i kNOW that I can't drink in the day any more - I came home, fell asleep and have since been battling the munchies ( i always get them after I've had a daytime drink!)

    So OH is making fishcakes and i am resisting biscuits and tortilla chips.

    still, that's the last of work till June 12th - and we survived a street party lunch for 138 kids ( although all the promised help setting up failed to materialise) - I didn't dare moan to the boss today because I was so cross that I would have erupted and really told him what I thought!

    We have a meeting first day back and I will give him the edited version!!!!!! When I've calmed down...

    Maybe try some red days? I'm doing green i know all the carbs don't suit everyone, but I'm losing well on green.

  • The only other thing I have done differently is how I use my syns.

    I was using them mainly for wine (a large glass each evening) but last week I cut the wine down to a couple of evenings and on the other days I used the syns for extra bread and mayo to add to my heb and have a sandwich for lunch.

    I may have been too reliant on free and superfree foods before and perhaps adding the bread made my day's food more substantial?

    I don't really care if it was the extra water or less alcohol that made the difference but I just hope that this week was me turning a corner rather than a blip.
