I'm off to my first weigh-in tonight after re-joining SW. Hubby and daughter have been doing it too but not going to class and hubby weighed in this morning and had lost 5.5lbs and he is delighted. DD was also very pleased to lose 2 lbs.

I was itching to get on the scales but haven't done so because it won't give a true reading will it?

Please cross fingers for me as I really have done it 100% - I'm doing EE by the way and every meal we've had this week has been a SW recipe.

First off sorry for moaning :o but not having a good week so far - i am seriously seriously hormonal this month. Worse than i am normally . I keep thinking that people are getting at me when i think in reality i am taking things to heart far too much, moods are flipping from one extreme to the other i am going from being in a rage (over nothing mostly) to crying. (ETA as i typed this i am in moment of calm)

My mum has had to endure another phone call with me last night with me blubbing about the 2lb gain & sts i have had at WI and how i am so unmotivated to do SW , and i have major choccie cravings all week and succumbed to temptation.

BUT today is a new day and i am determined to get back on plan again. I have purposely stayed away from the kitchen (biscuits ) and i am hoping i stay away from the sweetie cupboard later - infact i think i will sellotape it shut.

    EE for me today -

    B - all bran golden crunch, skimmed milk (hex a & b)
L - salad (seems to be my new fave lunch) - chicken, rocket, carrot, cous cous (half a pack @ 1.5 syns) , mushrooms
D - sweet potato chips, salad on side and omelette
snacks, pineapple, apple, muller light toffee

Why don't you try not even having that stuff in the house? If it's not there you can't eat it.;) We have not had any bread, biscuits, crisps since last Wed and have not craved them once as there are none in the house. We have son coming home for the weekend and he's in for a shock but if he wants it - there are shops just down the road!!:rotfl:

I hate the build up to 'that time of the month'.... it seems to effect my husband more than me.... he just turns into a complete !*!*!*! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I do agree that if the foods you are tempted by aren't in the house then your are less likely to eat them. My hubby takes the kids lunchbox stuff to work with him because otherwise I'd easily get through a 6 bag of crisps in 1 sitting x

Well done to your family Pennylane & good luck for tonight x

Do any of you shop regularly in Aldi? I decided last night as its the closest store to home, just needed to get just a few bits - top up of milk, fruit and veg etc. The satsumas are tasteless, the melon green inside, no Strawberries or Raspberries and the fat free strawberry yoghurts are actually 1 1/2 syns each (althoght they do taste very nice). Wish I'd gone to Morrisons now.

Need to do some meal planning for our holiday next week, anything healthy but quick and easy. :)
SW start date 20/02/12 - lost so far 2st 2.5lb

Evening all, thank you once again for all the support you probably won't realise but you have all helped. :A I don't feel so alone in my battle

Day 2 of being good :j Last night I had my tea and then that was it, I didn't eat anything else and kept myself distracted by coming on here and doing the ironing!

I plan a repeat of last night and will not eat anything else now that I have had my tea. I realise I'm only hurting myself and that food DOES NOT make me feel better!

Welcome along PearShaped :D I can relate to a few things you said in your first post. The support you will find in this thread is just fantastic! Everyone is always so helpful and friendly.
