Cereal, banana and skimmed milk for brekkie. Lunch will be salad nicoise (which was in SW book last night) just hard boiling the eggs right now so there's no excuse. I am also doing a 3 mile walk this morning with a group.

Can you see my halo shining:rotfl::rotfl:

Morning all - sorry I've been MIA so haven't had a chance to go back and catch up yet.

Back from the dreaded business trip. Urgh I feel awful and I'm sure it's the damn bread. Trying my hardest to refocus and get back onto the wagon but I'm struggling a bit, which was not helped last night when I met a lady I know in Tesco and she asked me if I was expecting baby no 3 ; God if she thinks I look pregnant now, what did she think of me before I lost the bast part of 3st. I know I shouldn't have let it get to me but I came home and troughed a cream meringue and a profiterole - damn you Mr T and your cheap whoospies! Looking at the packaging it was 120 cals for the meringue and 100 for the profiterole so 11 syns for the 2 roughly?? I should be trying to get rid of the booze weight from the weekend, not adding to it.

Need to get my head back in the zone I think. Sorry for the waffle, off to catch up now. x

Why the hell do people speak without thinking first???? I remember my first job when I was 18 I worked with a lady who wore maternity clothes all the time. I asked a colleague one day (TG I had more sense than to ask her directly) when the baby was due and she told me that the person in question wasn't expecting and in fact had been married for over 10 years and was desperate to have a baby and couldn't. Poor thing was so wrapped up in wanting to be pregnant that she wore maternity clothes all the time.

Lesson to be learned - engage brain before mouth!!!

    Morning all :D

Vicki - hope your little one is ok
G & B - Good luck with your results today. Hope you get what you are wanting

Well i had a lot of good intentions for today , i set my alarm for 5.50am this morning with the idea that i would cycle to work & then go swimming for 30 mins in the pool (near work)

Alarm did not go off because i set it for wednesday rather than Thursday and i had also switched off normal alarm which meant i woke late *whoops* :o

Luckily i had my wardrobe/menu planned last night - so food for me today is

    B - 2 scrambled eggs & 2 quorn sausages (2 syns)
L - Last nights chicken stirfry
D - no idea.. have not decided yet.

snacks - tons of fruit, carrot sticks, strawberry muller light

good luck G&B! i remember getting mine, they just posted them to the main entrance door to our building, then got annoyed when we blocked the entrance trying to search through a huge list of numbers for ours!

vicki - sending you all my love. xx

hoping my weight loss will get a massive boost soon, I've just accepted a job :j it'll mean an increase in body magic as i'll have a 10 min walk each way to the station and ill have to walk from the station to get to work. also hoping being busy will stop any mindless snacking! only danger areas are going to be finding a breakfast thats free/HE that i can eat at 6am, a lunch that i can take with me so i don't resort to shop sandwiches and as i won't get home until 7.30pm I'm going to have to come up with some sort of train snack to keep me going. also, i know the one of the girls that work there and they are always at the gym and doing zumba so hopefully it'll rub off on me :rotfl:

Finally caught up with all the posts I think!

Vicki - Hope everything is ok

Loving this thread, so many recipe ideas! I'm surprised that there isn't an official SW forum like the WW message boards...or is there and I just haven't found it on the SW website?

Anyway, I am off to Paris tomorrow, only for 1 night but I REALLY don't want to undo my good work and eat like a complete pig all day like I usually do when we go away. I have bought loads of apples and grapes to pop in my bag incase I get peckish. Hubby wants to go to Hard Rock Cafe (well secretly so do I but I am pretending it's his fault) so I am going to try and eat healthy all day and have saved some syns over the week so I can have a burger in the evening. I think I will skip the chips (not a massive fan anyway) and get a side salad instead. I always take off the top of the bun too so hopefully with all the walking I won't gain this week.

    Hello, I, back!!

Hi everyone, here I am again.
Had a truly fab week in Florida, the weather was superb, the food was to die for. :-(
I started off with all good intention, really I did.
I even ordered low fat meals on the plane, all went well until I gave in and said yes to an ice cream cone!
    Then that was it!!
I still tried my best though, but my best was not good enough.
Everything you eat in the USA is BIG!! literally.
One meal could easily feed a family of 3 or 4.
So I had a big mac, ( don't usually like them ) a donut, yuk! but ate it. Does this all sound familiar?
So on and on it went until finally I jumped on the old trusted wii scales, to show ...................... wait for it!! Drum roll please!! ....................... 8lb GAIN!
So here I am now feeling like a big fat beached whale.
Tomorrow the diet starts again, and hopefully by next week I will have lost most of what I put on!
    P.S. Missed ya all!!

    welcome back :j

glad you had a great time!

never mind the 8lb gain...im sure your own scales are wrong :D wait for weigh in, im sure you will be grand!!
    glad you enjoyed the holiday!

8lb will come off in no time! I'm in new york for two weeks in summer - I'm already dreading the gain i'll have from that.

first time i went to NYC was for 10 days, and i lost 6lbs:j

must have been all the walking, cause i ate and drank like it was going out of fashion:D

the main thing is you have a great time, and get back to the plan after the holiday! ;)

I STS this week, happy with that, cos i had an unplanned for 3 course meal at an Itallian restaurant, and a (also unplanned for)chinese buffet,So mustve been good enough the other days to get a STS.
evilsquid,I dont think the portions in New York are on a par with Florida,in fact when we went 2 years ago i was disappointed to find them just like UK size portions,LOL....so you may not have a gain..Enjoy your holiday, were going back for a week in October.
