Do you like vegetarian sausages? If so the Linda Mcartney red onion & rosemary sausages are free on all plans and are far better thah quorn (1 syn each) IMO.
Meaty sausages then the black farmer sausages (chipolata) are 3.5 syns on EE/ Red plans which is relatively low. I am a bit of a stickler for sausages and dont choose low fat ones myself because of the low meat content(average is between 60-75% meat and rest is god knows what??) . The ones i just mentioned are 90% pork and had very minimal amounts of fat when i cooked them.

hey ladies!!!
we are all meeting at my aunts house, and everyone is bringing a dish so we have kind of like a buffet, but i dont know what to make. my aunt is making my favourite food but its not too SW friendly (chicken and brocolli bake - but it has tinned soup etc in it) cousins are making 'beef and beans,' cheesecake etc...
i would love to make something yummy but im stuck on ideas as it needs to be able to travel and be heated in an oven when i get there. any suggestions?
Does it need to be warm? How about rainbow rice? Which is in effect a rice salad? I have a recipe at home so will dig out for you later when i get home if you are interested, but from memory i think its wild rice with red peppers, courgettes and some other veggies thrown in. Sounded lovely to eat. I think it was free on green/EE plan.

Life sucks at the moment. I've heard so many terrible things this week and I'm feeling really down -
1. Friend who lives in NZ has found out her daughter in London has been diagnosed at 22 years old with lung cancer.
2. There was a horrific car crash on the news last night - brakes failed on the car carrying a whole family - 8 people killed - turns out the mother was the sister of my neighbour - the only survivor was a 7 year old daughter
3. Just heard this morning of another friend who has just been diagnosed with testicular cancer
Life really is a !!!!! and I'm exhausted from the tension of it all.
Sorry just had to sound off!Mediterranean Mum
hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j0 -
Hi All,
Sorry for the week long absence - I was on a training course all last week so was away from home and work!
Last Monday I lost 1lb at weigh in, and got my half stone award.
I took last night as "holiday" - well, I hope I did, our consultant didn't get back to me when I messaged her but then she never seems to be, we've only had her 50% time due to illness or family stuff...
On my home scales last night would have been a STS, which I'm not suprised about since last week I was sat in a car and then a classroom all day, so a lot less active than usual, and it was sandwiches for lucnh each day (which I didn't even enjoy :-( ).
But oh well... back on it this week now i'm back to my normal routine. Fingers crossed.
Go on our cruise in less than 3 weeks time, eek!Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world!

Its basically just a filler, its not bad but you need to add a LOT of flavour to it.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
