Medmum – Sorry to hear how you are feeling, life is just so unfair at times isn’t it, hope the people diagnosed with cancer get through it ok
kjmtidea – super loss, well done you
Natterjack88 – If you like yoghurt the Aldi ones are nicer than muller & only 31p, I get there ff yoghurt as well for 55p a big tub & usually all my fruit n veg x

I got Linda Mc sausages last week, they were on offer in FFoods but think it was just ordinary ones, not tried them yet & not looked up syns.

Personally for me, the quorn sausages are edible – only just, the quorn mince, I find it ok using it for a quick spag bol but didn’t like it as chilli, I just use EL mince instead.

Well I am off to see my friend tonight & drop her a wee card in so I imagine there will be a lot of tears, wee sausage that she is :(

I use the Tesco Healthy Cumberland sausages, my eldest loves sausages and even he has no complaints about these, at 1 syn each I'm happy cos its an easy meal with chips and baked beans, yummy! And better still Hubby will cook these so I can have a night off sometimes, hehe! Not tried them in a casserole yet but can't see why that wouldn't be ok too.
SW start date 20/02/12 - lost so far 2st 2.5lb

how do you get them to stick together? will an egg do like with burgers or will i need to use flour?

I have never used flour when making meatballs, even pre-SW! I grate an onion, carrot and courgette and mix that together with the mince meat. Season it and add in one egg and combine. Then with wet but not soaking hands I roll balls of whatever size I'm going to make. I sometimes bake them in the oven and make a sauce using tomato puree, black pepper and a sachet of sweetener.

Good afternoon everyone, hope everyone is well, not had a chance to catch up.......you lot can talk for England! ;)

Not been around much this week, feeling awful, in a lot of pain down my right hand side of my chest, not the chest but down the side and underneath my breast, had some terrible back pain too. Suffered from the pain since last August, the doctor said it was shingles but I knew it wasn't. Not been back since then because I hate going to the docs, last year was non stop because of gallbladder related issues and I was hoping the removal of gallbladder would help with this pain but it's obviously not gb related........I really thought I'd seen the back of docs for a while, seems not! :(

Been on plan last 3 days and praying for a good loss this week. I was doing 30 day shred yesterday and whilst doing jumping jacks I think I've pulled something around calf/knee area :(

    Todays food diary

B Mullerlight, blueberries, raspberries, grapes and strawberries
L Jacket potato with phili ex light (half a hea) salad
D Homemade chicken kievs using phili ex light ( the other half of Hea and heb for breadcrumbs) Cous cous, salad

not really fancying any snacks but going to try and force a couple of ryvitas tonight with some phili light or flora light.

Am I right in thinking that cous cous is free? I don't have my book to hand.

Those sausages are now a favourite in my house, all my family love them. And 2 packs for £3 is pretty good too! I tried the Morrisons ones which are half a syn each but they were awful! I would rather have half more of a syn to get a really nice sausage.
